Yep, I'd be wanting Scott and 1st Round pick for Yassir - not sure I'd want a 2nd Round and Scott, but wouldn't be the worst deal, we've already had that......

I was bullied off this Board 3 years ago for saying exactly what everyone is saying now. Our AFLW program is amateur hour under Sheehan. Poor list management, trading and drafting decisions multiplied by 6 years. The club has failed our players, staff and supporters. All our first rounders apart from McKenzie are busts. heck me even Stan would have done a 10x better job at recruiting. To overlook Craven is a joke. The 2 GWS smalls traded in last year are seriously average. Grieser for Cordner, Federicks when the game had passed her by. The list of Sheehan heck ups is a long one.

If Ellish has had a fall-out with players/staff that is on Ferg and Sheehan. Its not the first time Sheehan has taken the easy option either. She pee'd off a player to Brisbane years ago in similar circumstances. The lack of leadership and culture that leads to these situations resides with her. I don't see it happening at Norf, Adelaide, Brissy, Hawks, Port et al who are years ahead of us or have blown past us.

You are not the first and won't be the last to argue Sheahan's place is a waste of space - and the only reason you may have felt anything at all is because your comments border on abuse at times, and reasonable people just want reasonable discussion.

Starting to look a lot like this is the second time Sheehan has sent us down the wrong road.

Only the second time you think? Me thinks we have found a lot of wrong turns and I'm cautiously stating here I think she might struggle to execute the difference between feelings from knowledge.

Sheerin departs for first round pick

Richmond has received a first-round selection at this year’s AFLW Draft in exchange for Eilish Sheerin.

Richmond Head of Women’s Football Kate Sheahan thanked Sheerin for her time at the Club.
“Eilish gave everything of herself when she was with us and for this we are incredibly grateful," Sheahan said.
"She has had a profound impact during her time at Richmond and we appreciate her contribution to our team throughout her three seasons.
"While we are disappointed Eilish is leaving, we are delighted to have improved our draft hand ahead of next week’s draft."

We probably aren't a top 8 team (Melbourne and Geelong full strength are clearly better) , also not a young team, so many others will overtake us soon.

It's not like we just decided to trade her and that's that. The player obviously asked to be traded and then again, once that has happened it's not like you can just say well you are going here. The player has all the say in where they want to go.

So it looks like, she said I want to go to North, make it happen.

I like Shevlin but hasn’t been able to repeat the year she had off H/B
I think Goal/GA players are the most valuable.

I’d have Yassir 2nd Tier one goal less than Grieser last two years 75% conversion in last two years.
