I saw Conti's B&F speech and she conspicuously "forgot" to thank Sheehan until the very end when reminded - speaks volumes to me IMO.

Can only think the club is going to try and talk Milzy around, like Bombers did with Houli I suppose but difference was at time was change of Coach, and up until yesterday didn't seem that there was trouble brewing. Hope you dig up some girl talk trash Bo so we can understand WTF going on.

How else can you explain a young player getting regular senior games preferring to take her chances in the draft than return to the club. She'd also have to be happy with the idea that we are getting shafted in the process

Wow, now Yassir still doesn’t want to stay if Beveridge is to be believed.

Culture seems to be off. It’s not like Yassir’s interstate and wanting to return to her home town or anything. In fact, she seems to prefer trying to go anywhere else but us right now.

We’re likely to end up losing two solid players. Sucks and questions need to be asked.

It's not like we just decided to trade her and that's that. The player obviously asked to be traded and then again, once that has happened it's not like you can just say well you are going here. The player has all the say in where they want to go.

So it looks like, she said I want to go to North, make it happen.

You are speaking more sense than some on here realise. This is not a full-time endeavor for these girls yet, and so, we have to consider their tenure a little differently to what we used to with the men's trade and draft period.

If Shevlin, McKinnon (she’s never been #1 ruck),Poppy (maybe now) we’re automatically ahead of her then that’s probably the problem.

I like Shevlin but hasn’t been able to repeat the year she had off H/B
I think Goal/GA players are the most valuable.

I’d have Yassir 2nd Tier one goal less than Grieser last two years 75% conversion in last two years.

Harsh on Shevlin given it was a injury laden year for her. She had one or cracking games. I think we missed her late when she just couldn't get going again.

Looks like a lot of effort just to move that 34 pick up to 31 - let's see what it does next Monday I suppose. Maybe we weren't going to use 38 and 45, and due to that turned 34 into 31. Already have 10 and 18, so if that's the case, so be it.
