Being reported in a couple of places now. Fully fit he will be an asset for GWS. I do not think we have ever really seen the best of Laddo for an extended period of time. He can play though. Loved his goal in the 2008 GF was very happy for him.
Will compensation rules come into play i.e Premiership player. (albiet he did not get on the park much this year)
I suspect it is to get some other deal done though.
Trade Week Radio mentioned that Ellis is going to sign with Hawthorn very soon

So we'd trying to push finals (again, fingers crossed) with a 19yo at either CHF or CHB. Doesn't happen often.
That's (fingers crossed) correct for the top end, but it can't really be the whole story.
All of the guys behind them (Darcy D, Still, Neagle, TSlatts) have failed/broken down and been cut/"retired"; and Hille/Fletch are getting on; and we're no closer to an answer on Gumby.
Hooker is way, way further up (& more important to) our list than Gillies is to Geelong's
Mini Draft deal?
Maybe steak knives in the shuffle to allow GWS to get O'Meara back, if it's true I'm just happy we will see him running around in the AFL again.

Can't find anything reported through a Google search except an article in August from the Herald-Sun saying that he was close to signing a new contract with the Hawks.
He signed a 2-year deal back in 2009 so he would be out of contract at the end of this year, unless he has signed already.

Ummm... I fail to see how that outcome is remotely possible, we're giving up a bunch of second tier players and coming away with some very quality results.
Even giving away all our draft picks as well I can't see that happening Don't get me wrong though, I would be thoroughly stoked if that is the outcome though!

Barrett on TWR stating (which was posted on the board last week i think) that Laddo has been told he won't be required at the club next year.
