Lovell has a lovely kick from his highlights package, plus can drift forward and kick a goal or pick up possessions across half back.

What the the hell are you talking about

Sorry brah, i saw a fair bit of the Matty Rosa Helicopter licence on show.

Freo will get him if he leaves.
You can't just assume that. Both teams have a very good case for luring Hogan home and I don't think the salary cap room would be much different for either club. WC might actually have more trade currency (at least with picks) in the coming years if Freo spend big on McCarthy next year (be pretty impressive if they could get both McCarthy and Hogan -> those trade radio ads would be changed). I could even find room to fit Kennedy, Hogan and Darling in our forward line in the short term ;) Gov could shift back or we could just play all four of them (hmmmm).

I get the feeling Fremantle will sell the farm and then some if Hogan becomes available. I'm not sure we would do the same considering we have decent forwards even if Kennedy retires in the next two to three years.

does freo even have good young talent? other than neale and weller, they dont have anyone that could be traded.

If you ask Spoken4, pretty much their entire list is young and talented ;)

As notified before, The eagles are interested in form a port player mason shaw and darcy Cameron. I know Mason Shaw has potential and my port mates used rave about him for the last two seasons. Like them i was super surprised they delisted him and kept John "can't kick a set shot" Butcher. Wouldn't mind him on the rookie and develop him into forward/ruckmen in the mould of kurt tippet/josh jenkins. Can a claremont fan or someone who watches WAFL regularly fill me in on Darcy Cameron. All i know is that his 204cm ruckmen and is a north Albany product and is considered a late bloomer. He could turn out to be Sinclair 2.0 and he is a few years younger than when sincs was drafted.
The comparison to Sinclair feel a real possibility. Darcy has been held back a little with opportunities at Claremont playing as a ruckman. Claremont had seasoned pairing of Seaby and Mitch Andrews plus added Kepler Bradley to their depth. Darcy ended up playing half the season in the reserves as the senior guys were simply ready for the contest that Cameron is only growing into plus they were the incumbents.

From a personal note, I would be happy to draft him as a rookie. From what I saw in the 2015 games, I suspect his body will take another 2 seasons to be right for AFL but should be fully right for WAFL league this year. Cannot comment much on the Reserves games this year though saw more of him in the colts games in prior years. Over his time at Claremont in Colts and Reserves, he has shown an ability to go forward and score - he kicked 28 goals in 2015 split evenly between reserves and league.

In terms of taking him as a rookie, good move. It may depend on what may be available to us in the draft but the ruck stocks in the draft at our range are not so attractive. WCE are pretty good at being patient with talls and I would expect him would blossom under the tutelage of Cox. Remember that he is the same year as Barrass and even taller hence likely to take at least the same time to develop as Tommy.

Could be a handy project player. Giles will be a good depth for a few years, then when cameron is 22-23 he can step up and challenge lycett. His development under cox and nic nat should be fast tracked.

I can safely say I did not see 1 bit of Rosa in Lovell in that 14 minutes package.

Did anyone else?

Why Freo?

Why wouldn't he look at the Eagles?

I a couple of years Kennedy and Le cras won't be on big deals as they are now. Even Naitanui will be taking a pay cut if his out put doesn't improve.

Priddis will be gone as well.

Fair bit of cap space there.

Gaff, shuey, mcgovern and yeo will earn a pay rise. Gove could potentially be 700k atleast and shuey, yeo and Gaff could fetch 600k in the neare future.
