Draft range 20 to 45 would be a good pickup at 31 duel sided quick explosiveHighlights are on http://www.afl.com.au/draft/draft-machine
Expected to go 25+
Hopefully he's still around at 31. Looks the goods.
Its pretty rare to have any major effects after 6 months. I had it as a teenager and it basically just made me feel like a lazy twat for a couple of months. Just wanted to laze around and do nothing. Kinda think the doc was wrong and i didnt actually have it and was just being a teenager.I dont know about glandular fever either. All i know is thats its a kissing disease and it takes ages to get better from it.
If it's not that serious, then why delist him and plan to park him on the rookie list unless they don't think he can fully recover or he isn't good enough to take a risk on if he can't get a game for a while? Its pretty rare to have any major effects after 6 months. Bit like his uncle.Yep because he kept going back home without notifying the club.
Say it was 6 months off hard training, for a guy like waterman who was carrying a few and puts them on easily its quite a hard slog back to get afl ready. Club could see it as taking up a spot on the list for a team contending who is highly unlikely to be capable of playing next season. he looks pretty fit IMO (from the photos ive seen). Looks to have lost a few kgs since i last saw him play.Say it was 6 months off hard training, for a guy like waterman who was carrying a few and puts them on easily its quite a hard slog back to get afl ready. The 6 months i referred to was to feeling good again he still has to pick himself up get moving again.
Could also be a pretty extreme case and pushing to get back will make things worse.

You would hope...Rookie Brenden Abbott? Has had issues with home sickness at Collingwood but might be different if he's at home.
Would still prefer Ryan Clarke or Jade Gresham if they're somehow still available, but otherwise Lovell would be a decent pickup at our 1st pick, by the look of his youtube highlights (mainly vs NT, not so much vs NSW/ACT), not only gets a lot of the ball, is mostly a great kick, can kick a goal (inc a set shot 50m out) and can take a strong mark. Hopefully his lack of height won't be too much of a concern at AFL level.

I think they have put him on the rookie list so that we can go with the 38-6 list and to also give him his own time to get fit. Hopefully he gets well soon and can have some sort of preseason.

Yeah he trained. Probably on light duties. dont think he will do full training till he's 100%.I'm fairly certain that I saw him involved at training very late in the season on the club's website.

Thought he was tipped to go in the 30's.Too short IMO. As a contending team I can't see us picking him up, for his sake I hope someone else does but will most likely be a rookie selection.

I agree Cunningham with our first he's bolting by the minute Twomey thinks he will go 20 to 30 now !!I reckon we'll take Cunningham with our first, bid for Himmelberg 2nd and take Marcus Adams with our last pick.
Cunningham averaged 20 touches and 5 clearances for Oakleigh. In a shallow draft with a heap of players with question marks on them, his explosive speed, balance, lateral movement through traffic and good size elevates him above others in my dreamy eyes.
Himmelberg looks like C McCarthy, just has to work on set shots (like the entire AFL just about).
And Marcus Adams will be our new Quinten Lynch/Troy Wilson muscle man. Looks talented too.
Crazy and subtle. What's the clubs angle here?
