Brisbane are campaigners to deal with.

Just comparing the Neale deal to what potentially Brisbane are asking for:

Neale + Pick 30 for Picks 6 + Pick 19 and Pick 55 ~~ That's the equivalent of Neale for Pick 3 after considering draft points.

Brisbane want two first rounders for Beams. Assuming we look at the lower end of that, i.e. Pick 18 this year and Pick 18 next year . that's the equivalent of somewhere between Pick 4 and Pick 5.

Absolute lunacy considering the age of Beams.

This is so true. Has he ever got anything right on the trade front? Quite common for him to totally contradict what another journo has just gone with.

Lynch chose Richmond after field offers from a number of clubs, just like Treloar chose Collingwood over Richmond when it's offer was better. When players chose a club you have no power at the trade table.

May, a 27 year old KPD would have been a good fit, but we didn't have the currency. Who would you have been willing to forgo of our current list in order to facilitate a trade? Would you be happy for Sier to be traded for example as part of say pick 18 to get May?

Beams, is an A grader. You can never get enough A graders on your list - simple really

Agree with your point on Lynch. May's broad public stance on any Vic club would suggest we could have been in the mix.
Suns let May and KK go for a single draft pick (6). No player. Why couldn't we have offered pick 18 and 2nd round 2019 for May only?

May and Dunn, with support from others(Goldy/Shaz/Reid/Howe/Langdon), could have provided us with flex to play Moore forward if we're not convinced that Cox/DeGoey/Mihocek holds together up forward.
