Can you name the list cloggers

Daresay 2 or 3 would play well at EFC.

I forgot the motto

Free=good.
That's not really true. I think the general view is we will be axe 5-6 players IMO they will all be mids/smalls now if we do get rid of all of depth players eg lonergan prismall dyson reimers slattery and mcveigh I highly doubt Merrett and kav will step straight in and produce at the same level if they do great but I doubt it.

Big to differ... Essendon will 2 or 3 offer them contracts when they find out if we will indeed get Goddard and how much coin we will have left for them..

His already offered contracts to Hille and Davey :(

Unreal how people just drop off Hocking after one season. Even more so since he played from round 8 with a stuffed shoulder (which he has had surgery on now) and really suffered from being knocked out in round 1 and losing 4 weeks of memory.
The bloke is not a star but there where reasons why he had an ordinary year and he was still one of only a few who we have that has any idea about defensive footy and playing a role in the side.
People need to take in a few interviews done about the Swans and players who are not stars but can play their role in the side.
Hocking has to get back to his better from from the previous 2 seasons as no one gets a free ride for too long but someone who can play the role has to come along to push him out and so far we have no one who can.

Do you think Hocking will benefit from having a Davis type come in and apply a proper tag, allowing Buddha to focus more on blocking for Jobe et al. and also winning the ball himself?

Either that or being able to play like he did in the game against the Dogs where his role was to tag 1 player and work off him and not be the blocker as well as the tagger of different players at each stoppage. Best game of the year was when he played on Griffen and one of his reasonably good games was when he was allowed to play solely on Judd.
There is no doubt his form was poor for most of the year and he has to find something to get back to his best.

Facebook rumour page posted that Goddard and Moloney are both signing and Gus is off to Port for 4 years. If true based on free trade rules which I am not quite up to date on, I assume we won't get anything for Gus??

nuh. but was discussing this with a random at the pub yesterday (both bomber supporters with a mutual hatred for the hawks) we came across an interesting point. Say port lose Chaplin and Pearce, will they want to damage their compo by taking in another free agent? That could become the only sticking point for mine, unless port organize a trade for monfries, which would then mean we receive something and port get max compo.

They'd lose about a 2nd or a couple of 3rd rounders either way.

But they would still have to trade something and i highly doubt we would agree to anything less than there 2nd round pick, so why not just get him in through FA they will still probably get a second rounder for losing Pearce.

Should keep Monfries around for one more year so we get compo for him. Should be a first rounder minimum on his wage, experience etc.

Malaney is a good get, as long as he is relatively cheap.
With that though we still have to match ports deal so we would have to give 4 years and imagine trying to talk him out of a 4 year deal so he could be our little pawn to be traded off the next year, wont happen.

Essendon becoming the new Hawthorn in that players want to play for them, well we hope so anyway.

How much better does the team look with B.Moloney, B.Goddard & J.Caddy?

Add daniher into the works, and future looks extremely bright.
