what if he demands to come to us and we can somehow manufacture getting a draft pick that is slightly higher than what those clubs have? Unlikely I know, but I think we are still in with a shot, purely on the fact that he wanted to come to us last year, and we are now an even more exciting prospect. Surely more so than St Kilda, Geelong, and North.

and FWIW I think Freo are our best chance to acquire that 1st round pick considering how many WA players we have who may be attractive acquisitions for them. Jetta, Pears, Reimers, Gumby, Hooker, Colyer..they may bite at some of those guys, and hey, it is freo after all. They love our used goods.

I think we'd be happy to. Don't think GC are very keen on either of them though. I think we need to negotiate for a 1st round pick elsewhere, but even then it would be unlikely if Caddy doesn't specifically request to get traded to us, as we will most likely get trumped.

I reckon there could be something in this. Definitely brings in a new element to the caddy proceedings. There is probably nothing more that would make me happier, than to see us snatch him from those piss ant north supporters. They really get on my nerves.
