I suppose it does grease the wheels in actually getting clubs to let a player go, and they’re all big boys, but glorified brokers sometimes need to be reminded it’s not their decision. It's pretty cooked actually. The AFL need to do something to limit their control.
If Freo are so locked in to Allan because he’s WA, that seems a bit myopicWe can put freo in a spot and say with 10+18 we’ll pick Bo Allen just before your 11 anyway
so holding 11 just to stick it to eagles at 12 becomes redundant for them
You can’t have both so choose who you want more.. they’re in the window so Bell will cop it not going with Bolton
This is ****ed.Youre definitely better than Morro
Dons will want to trade back in and would be a fabulous death-ride in 2025. We know 14 became a Blues F1 & F2 - I’d want a fair bit more than that. Cats likely, but they make me nervous.Would be good to go to the draft with 1,6,10,11 this year then 3 top 10’s again next year.
Which teams would people target for future first?
The 2 teams I thought would drop a Melbourne and Collingwood have already given there’s up.
If we can keep Matt Clarke in charge at West Coast , trading Hopper is a monte to net us two first rounders next year .Would be good to go to the draft with 1,6,10,11 this year then 3 top 10’s again next year.

That's assuming Melbourne would actually want to do that deal. It's already questionable if it's worth it for us, with Melbournes higher picks it's even worse value for the.For everyone getting excited about trading for pick 2, just remember that the Dees can trump us with 5 & 9 for 2 & 25, which North would be mad to knock back as it gets them Tauru and Armstrong if they want to address their KPP stocks
10.20So what time does this stuff kick off today? Need to know when to stock up on tissues and hand lotion.

Correct but pick 2 gets them whoever we don't take and ahead of Carlton as well. The dees only have picks 5 & 9. Their 40s pick will go to Brisbane for Sharp. They won't trade 5 & 9.
If that's a massive overpay then songs 6 & 10/11 that some are suggesting we do.Can't see the dees doing that though. Massive overpay.
25 part of the Caleb Daniel deal if north want him as well is a spanner in the works.
North want massive overs for 2 so just think it doesn't happen.
However if it did, then it would be the worst possible result for us as means Dees take a gun mid at 2 and north go 2 best talls at 5&9.
If nothing happens, could see north reaching for a tall at 2 (means a jagga could slide to 6) and there would still be a quality tall at 10 for us (Armstrong / Shanahan)
Pretty sure Melbourne can't trade any more future picks after they sent out the R1 pick to get 9.If Norf were prepared to offer a future first for pick 13, I think they would do pick 2 and a future first for 5, 9 & Melbournes F2
what did he say?Excellent hearing Tom Morris saying that he expects Richmond to be eyeing off Pick 2.

It's pretty cooked actually. The AFL need to do something to limit their control.
He was on SEN discussing the suite of picks we will have come 7:30pm tonight. And said they will be trading out some picks in the 20s to high bidders however he expects that we have our sights firmly on Pick 2 and definitely have the capital to get it done.what did he say?

In an even draft the advantage of trading multiple top 30 picks for 1 higher pick is diluted .He was on SEN discussing the suite of picks we will have come 7:30pm tonight. Lalor and FOS would be an insane draft haul.
If we get Pick 2 it's 99% Lalor and FOS.Trading for pick 2 is ONLY worth it if it’s for FOS.
Assuming we take Lalor at 1 and then trade aggressively for pick 2 only to take jagga or Langford and still miss out on FOS, that would be disgusting for us.
Would rather keep 6 and 11 and just get Draper/langford/smillie/reid at 6 and then a Travaglia/armstrong/slider at 11
And he says he doesn't read BigfootyExcellent hearing Tom Morris saying that he expects Richmond to be eyeing off Pick 2.

Nup gotta go , we’re re birthing the list , not interested in any that wanna split ,,,just go ,,,,nowwwwwThere’s a part of me that doesn’t care if Shai is not traded. Shows the other teams that you gotta meet our needs or nothing. Shai with 4 years left on his contract in his prime an absolute front runner in a good team is 10 and 11 minimum. All this talk throwing in 18 and giving back 14 is just dumb. Hold your ground or p*** off.
Rioli gets done and Freo weep until the end of the day
picks 1,6,10,11,14,20,23,24 + Peatling in the PSD
