That example is what's known as being caught in the horns of a dilemma.I've only heard it used in the sense of someone being in a position that would almost certainly lead to unpopularity or resentment.
Like your mate asks you whether he should dump his missus for another woman, he is placing you in an invidious position. If you say no he might think you don't want him to enjoy himself and you don't want his life to be more exciting than yours. If you say yes his missus will pillow talk what you said out of him and hate you forever.
Lets not forget envyThat example is what's known as being caught in the horns of a dilemma.
I think you'd have to agree that we have certainly put ourselves in a position that would lead to unpopularity and resentment.

Rawlings is a shocking List Manager. Imagine trading 25 for bloody Caleb Daniel, just wow Leaves them with 2 & 62 in the best draft in 23 years, just unbelievable. They are poor souls just desperately clinging onto dreams that somehow brady pulls a rabbit out of a hat
Nek minute #2 gets traded for #6 + #23 and north supporters ...........................
But But But they forgot to include the #18 ?
Surely they forgot ?
Sack Brady
Absolutely deluded!I have seen #6 & #11 for Norths pick #2
and They are also of the belief that their F1 is worth #10 + #18
So #2 + F1 for
#6 , #10 , #11 , #18
They live in another universe to every other team supporters
I mean it's not that crazy. I wouldn't do it but it's not totally unhinged. We're largely okay with 6 + 18 for 2.I have seen #6 & #11 for Norths pick #2
and They are also of the belief that their F1 is worth #10 + #18
So #2 + F1 for
#6 , #10 , #11 , #18
