the cfl has already destroyed our draft with all these compo picks placed right before our picks to stiffle us

if we take 6 and 23 for rioli and 10 and 18 for botlon it will be a complete and utter disaster !!

So the deal I would take 10 & 18 for Bolton, 6 & 20 (or whatever it is) for Rioli but we pay no part of their wages can't happen is what you're saying?

So if we don't get 5 first rounders for these two players and still pay part of their wages whilst playing at their new clubs, then Richmond FC is a joke of a club?
You can tell it's school holidays

Steak knives in a trade with Brisbane? We need some speed.

I said this last week.

We should give Brisbane points for Pick 20. But tell them we will save them points by not bidding on Ashcroft at Pick 1 and they need to throw in Harry Sharp for the difference in points.

Brisbane Trades: Pick 20 and Harry Sharp

Richmond Trades: Pick 32, Pick 42, Pick 50 and Pick 60 (Plus promise to not pick Ashcroft)

"Tigers play hard ball on stars, Lynch going nowhere

Tom Lynch will not be part of the Richmond exodus as the Tigers made clear they would play hard ball on a trio of trades including Shai Bolton, Liam Baker and Daniel Rioli.
Richmond’s list boss Blair Hartley on Monday made clear the club would have no hesitation on making a bid for Brisbane-bound Levi Ashcroft if he was in that slot on the Tigers draft board.
But the Tigers have made very little progress on their potential trades, and are likely to demand pick six and 13 from the Suns for Rioli given he has a long-term contract.

That is clearly an ambit claim but it underlines how tough the Tigers plan to be in a trade period where the club must make every post a winner to secure a sensational draft hand."

If we are legit asking for 6 & 13 for Rioli from Gold Coast then we must also be asking for 10,11 & 18 for Bolton at Freo. Hence why Freo are saying 10 & 18 and fake talk of them walking away and using their picks in the draft if the price is too high.

That would make sense to me why Freo haven't agreed to 10 & 11.

For those wondering about why Graham hasn't made a decision yet

Hartley joked that the Tigers were yet to locate free agent Jack Graham after his weekend Bucks party, but despite reports he is yet to actually choose West Coast as his destination.
The Tigers have not given up hope he might choose to stay on a beefed-up deal.

I guarantee the afl gets involved in the rioli deal and demands gc send 13 to pies and that we accept 23 like when they intervened in the lockett to Richmond which was locked in until they came in over the top and sent him to their lovechild club

Must've missed it. Makes sense. These are the types of kids we should be targeting.

Imagine we do end up with picks 1, 2 and 3 and tell Lions we won't bid. We give up less later picks to Lions which frees some up as sweeteners to Freo and GC for their early picks, and we get Sharp for peanuts. Everyone's a winner.

told yas we aint taking 6 and 23 for him

6 and 13 or G A G F

u want a player in contract till farkken almost 2030 u fakin pay what WE wANT !!!

good on u blair

colonwood n carltoon eat a fat yellow and black schlong!
You been drinking with aunty again?

media has 13 going to pies 100% a lock

fmd these campaigners

so many leg ups in the media for the pies

If Gold Coast trade out pick 13 so early after we have asked for 6 & 13, I reckon there's a good chance we walk away from the deal altogether. It will also highlight to Freo if they don't give us what we want for Bolton we are prepared to walk.

how many years did we give away players for nothing

well now its our turn to benefit !!!!

sick and tired of Richmond getting reamed by everyone
