Hey Zeph you have been quiet on these boards. Hooker should and most likely will be AA CHB or FB - but this is his 1st really good top shelf year - pick 1 is a pipe dream - plus Jade would wants a sweetener?? Terrible poster - terrible call.

Terrible result for GWS - Saints also have a hole in defence and will most likely get the number 1 pick. Zero chance they would do it either.

Take your fingers out of your ears for 5 minutes and explain the difference between - GWS prying Hooker out with pick 1 and "I didn't say Hooker would attract the number 1 pick."

And to be fair, I simply mentioned two of the most prolific defenders in the comp right now, and also didn't qualify what any sweetener would be.

Was simply to refute the idea that GWS would in any way consider parting with #1 for Garlett (in any combination).

That STILL wouldn't get the job done. Do tell how Garlett is a better small forward than lets say Devon Smith? Pick 1 won't be traded nowadays, it is too valuable from a marketing point of view.

Depends on the draft, let's just say hypothetically Boyd or Paton were homesick I would have no hesitation trading pick 1 for them.

It's all well and good to be trading to gain a top 5 pick but is it really worth it with this draft, you wouldn't want to sell the house that's for sure.

Watts has turned it around this year, and it isn't as if there were a lot of KPP options in that draft, Kruezer is very underrated, injuries aside he is a good ruckman..would I have chosen him at 1, probably not (Cotchin), but he isn't that bad. Scully is a shocker but again the only one in the top 3 (who comes with off field issues) is Martin.
