Ok not starting a thread over this so I'll put it here. With the need for ruckman in this trade period, would someone please explain how Brent Renouf has been delisted and is being offered an option on a rookie contract? Either no club was interested in him of he has been screwed.

But looking at the bright side, he played well for us and our coaching staff was able to get the most out of him.

Wow such a polar opposite to the love this board gave him when he held The Hawthorn Football Clubs ruck devision together from 2009-2011. We proved that he was capable of competing. If Port was not able to teach this young man, even with such a great ruckman in Matthew Primus as his mentor for at lest one year. Still surely Port would of taken some sort of draft order upgrade from a semi competent ruckman. People wanted ruckman this year surely he would of had some currency.

Meh, just think this is a disappointment for the world of AFL because of who his uncle his.

If we continue to win Grand Finals how the hell are we going to get high draft picks?
Picking up guys like Veszpremi, Magner Tambling and Tuck will ensure we legitimately finish down the bottom without being accused of tanking ala Melbourne
