Its rare to see such a large discrepancy between and individual and team performance. In a game in which his Chargers team were belted by nearly 100 points, Jagga was unstoppable for most of the day, slicing through stoppages like a surgeon with a scalpel and setting up his team with opportunities they failed to capitalize on. The one criticism you could make is that he contributed to the lack of defensive pressure around the footy by Oakleigh, only laying one tackle for the game.

Mate on behalf of our board, thanks heaps for sharing this stuff.

Just listened to the recent Gettable podcast- Luke Trainor was on. He mentioned that he supports North, poor bloke. I rekon that may increase our chances of landing Smillie, he is projected to go within the first 10 picks. Surely North don't go past the best key back in the draft who follows the club. There desperate for a gun key back- are stacked with gun mids, just got to stay below Hawthorn on the ladder

Cooper Hynes had a huge game for the Stingrays against the Suns Academy and took out the rookieme player of the week as a result. Cooper is a strong and bullocking mid/fwd who knows how to use his size and strength to gain advantage in marking contests and win contested footy.

That’s exactly how I see it , tbh we shouldn’t go past him either , regardless we’re box seat for smilie

Thanks for this clip of Jagga, highlighted everything I believe we're missing in our midfield mix, a hybrid type of midfielder who can not only win their own footy, but can then burst away from the stoppage and use the ball well to get maximum impact from his possessions.

You beat me to it. This is the kind of stuff Magic lives for. It must have been hard for him when we started winning premierships prematurely
You are an idiot and we won after Lids left

I have not seen a stand out top draft pick yet, not that I am trying too hard yet

Maybe last year was a better draft year but it is still early and lot of room for more development from the youngsters

The Bulldogs, amongst others imploding is quite interesting so always have to keep options open for case by case situations

They are great lads and have some great athleticism with basketball backgrounds. Add 10 kgs each and they will the perfect size. The forward has a fantastic mark on him. They will take a couple of good years to develop on an afl list.
They are both very good operator’s…And are interchange-able, both in looks and position…My son plays with them at Bushies…Jack is the usual CHF, but is out with a busted finger…So Matt went from CHB to Forward and kicked 5 on the weekend vs GWS (who were poor mind you)…But both are solid citizens who would fit in anywhere (and need pre-season’s obviously)…

Welcome back

never went away.

Watching the team playing, we are not going that bad.

People are too hard on Dusty and others.

The new Kiwi forward, is coming off a hail mary shot but I like what he brings, he kicks straight and the main job of forwards is to kick goals. He is strong, a bull how effective would he be as a pinch hit ruck to spin the dynamic with his presence? He is not afraid and is strong, I like his contribution and he is positive for the team, Tom Brown amongst others is growing to along with other youngsters, Dow finding his feet at the level. Things are not that bad

I do not think enough commentators imagine enough, spin the magnets enough and try a few different things.

RFC still has a lot of potential I think not too far away

I saw the margin against Freo but the last two goals against us where in the last minute with the game over, it is as never as bad as it seems, we are kicking a few goals ignoring the scoreboard.

The scoreboard is not important if you are focusing on premierships in the years ahead

Hope Jack Whitlock is fit for the champs as he looks like a good target for the mid first round we might get for Baker or from Brisbane for a pick swap

Sounds like BS by Jay Clark from the HUN

DIMMA READIES FOR FIRST TIGER POACHING

Gold Coast’s interest in Richmond star Daniel Rioli is real, according to the Herald Sun’s Jay Clark, and the Tigers could land a healthy sum in return.

The 27-year-old is contracted until the end of 2027 and there were conflicting reports over whether he spoke with the Suns and his former coach Damien Hardwick during a recent trip to southeast Queensland.

But Clark told Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle “where there’s smoke, there’s a little bit of fire”.

“And I think the Gold Coast Suns are just eyeing Daniel Rioli at the halfway point of the season, and will be very interested in his services,” Clark said.

The Suns would need to give something up to land Rioli, given he is contracted, but they have a healthy suite of 2024 draft selections including two first-rounders - their own, and the Western Bulldogs’ pick.

The Bulldogs' first was floated as a fair price for Rioli given it is likely to fall just inside or outside the top 10 picks.

“If you were Richmond, and this is a fascinating situation there could be, not an exodus, but a torrent of players coming out of that club,” Clark explained.

Liam Baker, Daniel Rioli, what’s Dustin Martin gonna do? I think it’s a really interesting situation but is this a chance for Adem Yze and the Richmond list management crew, who haven’t had a whole lot of high picks over the journey, bundle up some of these players and it really is a new dawn for the Richmond football club?

“But it just flies in the face of what they did with (Jacob) Hopper and (Tim) Taranto.”

Without Taranto/Hopper we would have no senior mids to guide/support the new picks. You need some senior bodies. I agree with what we did for Taranto & Hopper. Jay Clark, unfortunately another misinformed Journo, it had nothing to do with Yze at the time. It was Dimma's choice.
