Everyone was saying our pick 15 we used for Ellis was only going to get an ordinary player, I tend to dispute that right about now.

If we can somehow keep pick 11 and get Adams we have smashed this trade period, there are a host of "possibly" great players touted around that pick and I would back us in to nab one.

please tell me what we offer GWS that would satisfy them ?

Agree with this. Even if we lose 11 and get Adams we kept ALL of our guns. Huge imo

As said below. Foley, Azza, Astbury, Batch, hell take your pick. All would be a mature body that are solid players. Even mention McGuns . We have options

Very slim chance of s getting all the players mention thus far as big players like Premiers: Hawthorn, Pies and Blues will be more desirable locations and teh Draft is very crap this year unless you have a top 3 pick which we will never trade for as we are now known as conservative richmond

Why would you think blues are a more desirable than us and that they would affect us getting the players mentioned so far when they aren't even interested in the same players we are. With Hawthorn they have gone cold on Longer and are heavily targeting Mumford. The pies are really our only rivals for Adams as he said a while ago that he preferred collingwood and richmond which basically rules out all the other clubs and he will choose the club he wants to go to out of the two sometime this week. With the draft there is plenty of quality players upto the 30th pick then their some good players who have potential if develop right so it is reasonable draft in which you can improve your list if you chose wisely.

Imagine having longer, Adams, chappy and a youngster from the draft.

We would have the best midfield in the competition (if we already don't) and we will finally have some forward line depth.
Riewoldt and cotchy were playing with injuries at the end of the season so they should be fully rejuvenated by the pre season.
Kept Dusty and don't look like we will lose any of our youngsters.
Get another pre season under the younger players' belts and they will progress unbelievably.

Should this happen, I dare to say that we would be a serious top 4 side next year.

First option gives them a ready made mid and a flexible forward/defender.
Under usual circumstances this probably wouldn't get it done but GWS need mature bodies.

IMO finals footy is contested footy, in a tight and congested fwd in 2012 the bloke came out of nowhhere to kick goals ... take him out of mid rotation or at least less time in mid and i reckon he might be handy in finals .... then again as you said we do need a quality ruck to be able to come in for maric so if that's what it would take to get it done ... I'm on the fence with this i think

We would be hoping for two out of the three.

Certainly we wait till Friday as we hope Adams selects us. He is our number one choice. I do not think we have the avenues to obtain all three. But we will see.

Jake Batchelor, Nathan Foley, David Astbury and draft picks all been noted to me that could be up for grabs.

I know Leppa had a lot to do and is well fond of David Astbury. Take that for what you will.

I would offer David Astbury and a draft pick for Billy Longer (ruckman)

I would offer Jake Batchelor and Nathan Foley for Taylor Adams (inside midfielder)

Matthew White should net us a draft pick in the 40's from what I hear. So maybe a pick for Montagna may be possible yet. Who knows. Just was told by a source we were enquiring heavily about these three names. Not huge news as most knew that.

That's all fantasy though, just throwing it out there what I think we could offer. Whether the other clubs say yes to it is another thing.
