So pick 7 is good but we should laugh at pick 8 and something else?
Why are you including "something else"? Pick 8 is ample and we should be chewing their arm off just to take pick 8.
You're on drugs if you think that any club would offer us more than a top 10 draft pick for Foley.
Pick 8 for Foley? Hell yes!! if we got this done, Grigg for 50 and Houli PSD this would be nearly the best trade period ever. Foley is injury riddled, lets get what we can. We are doing the right things this year.

with monday being the last day of trade week, how does everyone see richmond being involved?
In my opinion I realistically see:
Thursfield -> Fremantle for 3rd round pick
Our compensation pick for Grigg
3rd round pick (the one we got from fremantle) for Houli
I also see us trading for another pick around the 20s, as Craig Cameron said our main goal was to improve our position in the draft, so possibly Rance or McGuane could still be offered up.

FWIW... l'm open to trading Foley. At the right price. Havent had him for 2 years, to me, expendable.
Firstly your an idiot...how do I not get that...I said trade him for 8 if his body is stuffed. If it is fine and he will be back next season then you are kidding yourself. Foley was our only shining light in a crap side for many years. Imo he was our most important player...now taken over by Jack and Lids. With him in the middle we are elite....pick 8 is a speculative kid who may not make it and is no where near guranteed to get anywhere near the level of Foley.

Foley is not the player we want to lose. We got shown for lack of midfield depth with only 2 injured midfielders
Youre not getting it. If his body is stuffed... then we'll be lucky to get pick 40. A spreculative kid at pick 8 is better than a player that makes cameo appearances.
