Mitchell showed signs of being cooked last year, this is 2 years too late.

Clarkson is no mug, he knows he isnt going to help him win the premiership next year.

We lack contested ball winners, while mitchell is class he does his best as a receiver and is not the type of class that is going to help up as the coal face.

No he didn't, he just won the best and fairest again.

Why get a 33yr old in who could potentially get one injury and never play again. Get an up and coming youngster and put some games into them. This has completely shocked me.

The only concern is that Mitchell is slow as molasses. The difference between him and the rest of our midfielders is that he finds space in congestion. That's huge if he can teach it to the rest of our mids.

Look more into it, Clarko has manufactured this, went to Mitchell personally to see if he would play for us and move into coaching, he only did that because he knew he needs to make cap space. We are doing them a favour for next year, it'll be cheap for us.

Same as the Hill to Freo. Hawthorn are good at getting a result

He is ageless, could play for another 3 years no dramas. At 34 he is at the top of his game, your midfield will be ruddy elite.

Don't bag out glenorchy_jet, had a look at his posting, and while he hasn't posted much he doesn't appear to be a troll.

A lot of Eagles supporters who might view threads, but not be active posters would feel inspired to write today based on massive news for the club. Lets support people engaging, and being part of the community, unless they are obvious trolls.
