AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
He's a fringe 22 player that can walk in to the side, win contested footy, lay tackles, and pick up 20-25 disposals.
I rather keep him than trade him for pick 40.
Westcoast supporters will probably get on my back
But I was thinkin Hardingham and Colyer (both from WA) for Rosa and 2nd or 3rd rounder
On talent - that's not too far away from fair
The problem is WC's glaring deficiency is midfield - this trade doesn't help it.
Yes, but if he asks for a trade then we don't have much choice, do we?
brent renouf and possibly xavier ellis
He said big player......
I have heard no credible reports.

Heard that IF Dawes leaves the Pies he could go to the Blues for Andrew Carrazzo

You'll have West Coast supporters on your back huh??? hmmm i think you mean Essendon supporters on your back....what are you talking about thats a big loss for us.
Rosa has been there for several years and did not make his mark during there wooden spoon year.
Will never happen, post that up on the Essendon board and see what there response is?
Hardingham was solid in his role all year, still needs to learn the finer art of his defensive role i.e. when to punch when to mark but that will come with experience after all it was his first season in Defence at AFL level.
And Colyer showed glimpses to suggest that with a solid pre season or two he could be of real value. I dont think he is going anywhere unless he is packaged with our first draft pick for an upgrade in the draft or half decent high calibre Victorian that wants to come back home.
You have Gaff and Mcginnity to replace kerr and Embley
Where else are you lacking, Priddis has still got 5 years at minimum left as well as masten if he gets his act together
I can't see how an Ebert deal can get done.
You aren't going to offer pick 6
Your pick 30ish isn't going to cut it either.
Even if we throw in our 1st rounder of about 21 - you are still not going to offer pick 6.

Rosa was drafted in 2004 and took a fair while to come good. But, he did so in 2009, and has had 3 good seasons since. 2007 and 2008 weren't bad, but rather solid, but he tidied his kicking up and added hardness at the contest since 2009, which took his game to another level.
Rosa has been an automatic selection in the team at WC for a long time. Your comment "did not make his mark during there wooden spoon year" is way off the mark.
Unless Port get him in the PSD?
Otherwise no.
Is there any juice in the rumour of Steve Salopek to Essendon?
The thing with Dawes is obviously Pies don't have a lot left under the salary cap, that's the reason Dawes hasn't been able to sign so far because they can't give him the money...
So the only thing I could see Collingwood except for him is probably draft picks, but a concession pick would be perfect for them, they wouldn't have to cash it in for a few years when they might start declining (If not still doesn't matter) they will be able to hold off and save money and then use the pick later.
Ebert being dropped during the finals wouldn't have hurt our chances of getting him at PSD.
Why would Salopek move to Essendon after signing a long term contract last year? It would be the height of stupidity to trade him now when it finally looks like he might be getting his body right.
you dont say how many times do people need to say the same thing over and over again i think its pretty obvious that it would be for a pick if he did leave
