And Shields looks every bit the British thug :) Try knocking those tree trunks over! Crikey!

(houlihan is doing a good pr0n star job! Anything think that Bridie Carter's dance partner off Dancing with the stars looks incredibly like a blond Houlihan?? It's scary how similar they are).

Joey Anderson, Aisake, Gibbs and Grigg have bulked up and I cannot wait to watch these guys play. Although i wont actually be in the country, so i'll have to ask for help later about how to go about watching AFL overseas.

He's Irish AWG. Irish definitely AIN'T British.;):thumbsu:

Interesting to note that Steven Icke, Wayne Hughes and some1 else were showing what looked like a footy player around our headquarters and into the change rooms. It looked like we were trying to sign him up in a sence. I dont know if he was a AFL player but he certainly had the body shape to be. Oh and so did his missus.

I heard about that too shmurf... I heard it might have been a Freo player we are interested in picking up... Not 100% though...

Also heard player X's missus was quality! :D

No he looks quite fit, the only guy that is a little bigger is Fev..

....and if that has got to do with his groins, then hopefully he'll trim down when he can do more running. He's never been great with his fitness, so I don't see 2008 being any different.

mm yeah he couldn't really run so I guess that would be part of it, but his arms are usually super toned and they were just big, you couldn't see muscle

I'm sure he'll be right though, he was having a laugh and encouraging joey (anderson) when they were doing their handball drills.

Scotland looks quite impressive, looks really fit and each of his kicks nailed the target.

He is the most under-rated player at our club. Deserves a lot more recognition.

Can't agree more, most people (outside the club) believe he racks up cheat and easy possessions....meanwhile someone like Luke Hodge could play the same position or game and he's a superstar.

Whilst he is not a pure midfielder nor a defender both aspects of his game are underrated.

Anyway from what I say from him on Monday he could have a fantastic year, and hopefully deliver more of that much needed on-field leadership!

He does get alot of cheap possessions, but if the team is playing well and you let him pick up those touches he can be very damaging! He is another player you will see rated alot higher when the team performs well!

Remember mid 90's when people used to notice Andy McKay only when we lost? meaning he never dropped off! Thats how i see Heath's role. Although not McKay, i think with better players around him he will be very damaging if teams overlook him!:thumbsu:

Not to mention that getting cheap possessions is often his role so you can't really criticize him for that. Definitely one of the 5 most underrated players in the AFL.

Fev and Stevens are never in shape at this time of year. They know their bodies by now, and will trim down/tone when the time is right.

One thing to note that (mainly in Fev's case) to build muscle you have to eat and eat to feed the growth... body-builders will put on a bucket load of weight (new muscle + fat) and then prior to competition will strip the fat.

Fev being a power full forward will be building his upper body as much as he can during his recovery and once he begins full cardio will strip it off in a jiffy as his metabolism with all the muscle he has will do him wonders...

Stevo is also looking a bit stronger so he may be on a similar muscle building regime to Fev?

Jake Edwards looks to be a fine specimen. At 190+cm and really quick he looks like he could cause some serious problems in 2008 for opponents if he can just get out there.

totally agree. just needs to get a game and could be a good player.

hopefully plays in the NAB and practice matches

I agree he has a good physique, but it really depends on whats between his ears that counts.

If fit he should be played in round 1 NAB cup team, lets see what he's got.

How sexy is that !!!!

Judd seems to have bulked up a fair bit in a short amount of time...must be very happy with his progress I'd imagine Blues supporters?
