The Nostradamus you're up..Hey everybody!
Great to be back!
Who was the new kid with three legs at training today?! I'm a bit embarrassed to ask the boys!
I took this close up shot of Curtis Taylor reaching for his skinny decaf at the North Coffee Wagon on Monday.Yeah, I like watching the trainings but I would feel a bit weird taking close up pictures of the players on my phone.
Haha great post! I love our supporters getting involved!I took this close up shot of Curtis Taylor reaching for his skinny decaf at the North Coffee Wagon on Monday.

Hugh Greenwood was making the coffees by the way… Even though most here (1) thought he was living it up in Vegas.

Ben Hopkins Draft Profile
Dandenong Stingrays defender Ben Hopkins is a hard-running rebounder who hit his stride late in the Talent League season.central.rookieme.com
HOPKINS' RUNNING NUMBERS
FURTHEST RAN IN A GAME: 13.005km
STATE COMBINE 2KM TIME TRIAL: 6:32
Hopkins, a dashing defender, played 14 games for the Rays this Coates Talent League season.
He averaged 19.8 disposals a game and broke the club’s distance-covered record.
While Hopkins’ running capacity, short and long, is an obvious strength, he prides himself more on his footy IQ.
Whatever happens on Tuesday, Hopkins will return to the Dandenong Stingrays and try his luck at landing on a VFL list.
He doesn’t want to wait until the mid-season draft to hear his name called but said it will add extra incentive if he is to be overlooked next week.
“It can add to the motivation a little bit,” he said.
“I am obviously very grateful for where I am because I didn’t expect to be here, but getting a taste of it, being this close to your dream.
“Having that extra opportunity, I am going to put everything into it if it isn’t to happen this year.”
Just surprised that they dont keep going out on the full like his do.Jy Simpkin impressed with the kicking skills of the new recruits... or jealous?
Basic skill execution has been ignored for his entire tenure.Jy Simpkin impressed with the kicking skills of the new recruits... or jealous?
Half a probably confused if a 45 is in metres or degrees???Basic skill execution has been ignored for his entire tenure.
He’d be easily impressed.
Wrong co captain. Jy's specialty, even though I love him, is the grubber kick straight into the oncoming defenderJust surprised that they dont keep going out on the full like his do.
I love Jy as well. Would like to see him at HF or a wing now. My main reason being I’m worried about a couple of big concussions he’s had. I’d want him playing good footy for a long time for us. The concussion against Geelong at alphabet stadium, was right in front of me. Massive hitWrong co captain. Think he'd be lost on a wing. Would rather leave those to Stephens, Scott, Fisher, and maybe McKercher and Goater. Shiels and Tucker as backup. He started as a forward, so that would make sense. We need a healthy midfield first though. For me he's in the first midfield rotation until someone displaces him. LDU/Wardlaw/TT would be a dream setup, but they've all had their issues.I love Jy as well. Would like to see him at HF or a wing now. I think Jy is a good inside mid, but if we have a talent overload in there then he would be great in the hf role that Turner was playing for us last year. Much much more impactful than Turner.
Unless you’re exceptional. He will definitely form part of our arsenal of footballers who can play mid and then go fwd for a bit.
They're the type we're after, makes sense to me. You need to be more than just an inside mid for example.
