The cool (ish) change has gone through Geelong and Avalon, so it should sweep through Jock McHale Oval (as I still call it) by 5.
That's more of a note-to-self for all the Saints players over the years...

Francis and Scott Russell were outstanding that year. These two were the difference in my opinion.It was a ripper! First game for the Pies and six weeks suspension. Finished the year with a Premiership! Oustatnding....

Agreed. Their pace was exceptional and Russell was a prolific possession-getter and Scooter was a fast in-and-under type that often gave us first use. Telling was their recruitment...

it was Murray Rance, got 6 weeks for a toe poke in his first game
once saw Gavin Brown running back with the flight of the ball towards a leading Tony Lockett, he looked up, saw it was Plugger, and ran back faster towards him
