Maybe, but I was very much of the opinion that Scully was a low risk high reward option at that point of the draft, and I’m firmly in the camp of country footballers being a rookie/msd option. Here’s hoping he proves me wrong.

It didn't work out to well for them in the end, tried to get to smart & they gave up a lot when the dust settled.

Allan was a great get at pick 19
IIRC, trading Ollie basically ended up giving us both Ryan & Mitchell in the 3 club deal. I liked Barnett, but give me Ryan & Titch anyday.
Hind stated that clubs had interest in Ryan at live pick 28, based on that it was unlikely he was still there at 30.
My main gripe was on trading pick 30, effectively gifting Cowan to the Bloos for their future 2nd. We can only hope they stink it up in 2023, though I doubt it.

Agree, would have prefered obtaining another clubs 2nd rounder, not the Bloos.2nd

For the people that watched the intraclub how were Mihocek and McStay deployed?

Were they both deep forwards from the goal squared or did they push up the field like CHFs? Did their positioning differ or sid they play the same way at opposite ends of the ground?

Mcstay roamed, sometimes closer to goal. Sometimes further up the field.

They are both quite similar, depends on phase of play I reckon but I think the coaching staff will be encouraging them to provide different options and maintain separation. So in that way they’ll probably rotate as the ball moves up and down…if McStay gets stuck up the ground Mihocek goes deep and vice versa…thus maintaining structure.
