I think he might be in the 22 with Adams out.

Interesting contrast, isn’t it?

Contested bull who sprays opportunities vs two players in Nick and Ginni who are criticised by those outside the club for not being able to win hard ball, but routinely use it to maximum effect.

Just watched a compilation of Ginnivan's goals in 2022 and I think he has to play at least as a sub if we make the GF. His footy brain more than compensates for his less than stellar physical attributes.

Some of us have been banging on about this all year. I don’t care if Ginni’s the sub, but he has to be in the 23. He kicks goals, assists goals, creates space to enable goals. He and goals go together.

Kicked 5 goals playing mid and floating forward.

In 19 games last year De Goey finished with 18.18 (36). Averaged 20.79 disposals.

After 19 games so far this year it's 16.9 (25). Averaging 23.68 disposals.

He's never averaged more disposals than this season but I'd love for him to up his goal scoring before the year is out.

While he was far from poor against Melbourne he's still capable of much more also. Zero tackles in that game and with Adams now out we need him to step up in this area.

He is also excellent at getting opponents to lose sight of their objectives by becoming obsessed with trying to rip his head off. Lots of good teams have had serious pests play big roles

Yes he does. The ability to kick the ball between the big sticks is underrated. Just ask melbourne

Agree. We need maximum X-factor from here on. For all his faults, Ginni makes things happen - both for himself and those around him.

Wondering if Bobby Hill is at training? Anyone there able to confirm?

Don’t know. Jen2310 is there maybe she can tell us.

But with both Noble and Ginni training with black tops on, I’m guessing Bobby still isn’t out there and might be a surprise out.

Illness? Injury? Who knows.

You don't have to be a physio or doctor. Any hamstring strain, even the most minor is a three week (minimum) proposition.

Not necessarily. A standard hammy is 21 days but you can have very minor strains that repair and are ready within 7-14 days.

If we do get through this week, it will be a massive talking poing going into a GF.

wow that's a dashing photo of the bolts..... i wonder how many hours went into engineering that look. I'm not sure about the quote....is he making a positive statement? I know coaches have always spent most of their media time in talking to the players, while appearing to talking to the fans, but that trend seems to have gone into overdrive in recent years - messages of positivity overload.

someone ease my Bobby hill anxiety please. Even if u use Tom brownes fake account to say he’s playing. I’ll take it
I thought I read something recently that he missed training the other day due to family reasons but there was no issue with him playing this week, does that help?
