Melbourne players chucked a tantrum when the afl presented their first hub proposal in a zoom conference. So it was scrapped for one which proposed everyone else to go into a hub, which they found much more appealing. Better?

Don't bother with the lizard............he's a troll and not a very smart one.

Ignore is your friend.

60% of teams basically couldn't train together for a period of months on end

Vs

10% of teams can't train for 5 days.

It's basically exactly the same isn't it?
Everythings the same but worse when you live in WA. And its up to everyone else to take responsibility to solve their sporting problems.

A state footballing culture defined by the naive and lazy projection of its own percieved victimhood.

We could hardly care.

Does this now mean you are admitting you got it wrong?

Even this statement is not completely true and is bent to suit your agenda, but i suppose it's better than what you initial said and tried hard to defend.

I see nothing on Adelaide or GWS players.

The state of WA is not locked down. It is Perth, south of Perth and North of Perth. The hot spot designated area, not the entire state.

Similar to when Brisbane was locked down. The rest of QLD was not.

Which is still overboard. Your first thought shouldn’t be lock the thing down.

If most people say jump into burning coal would you do it? Most doesn’t always mean the best.
Covid doesn’t give you the option to contract it or not. We’re talking about a small lockdown here, the positive case traveled all over Perth. You’d have to be a headcase to have a problem with it

It was still just a single case. Yes it travelled to a few places but still. Now you want the whole comp to not train because your premier has locked down a state again

We haven’t been locked down since the end of April last year. If this case spreads no one is training for two to three weeks. at the moment we’re the only clubs not in full training so it’s in everyone’s best interests if we stay home for a few days. Don’t worry, it’s not affecting you or your footy club

So basically if Victoria goes into lockdown all the teams need to suffer but if any other state has an outbreak they should suffer alone

just the hypocritical mindset of your average Victorian footy follower
Western Australia 5 day lockdown over one case vs Victoria a few months of lockdown over 100+ Daily cases can see why Melbourne clubs were not allowed to train no fault of their own the AFL had to figure out what to do with Melbourne clubs at the time

The mental gymnastics by some people to justify their own bias is laughable. It doesn’t matter if it’s just two clubs, just five days, just one case, the principle was set last year. If all clubs can’t train equally, no clubs could. But when the boot is on the other foot, people scramble for excuses.

Will Schofield is an Eagle and a Vicco and he knew bollocks when he saw it.

WA clubs through no fault of there own have been forced into training restrictions just like the Vic clubs were. Regardless of covid numbers. Not our clubs decision.

The AFL figured it out and set a precedent.
But only if it suits.

Because I think to say if one club cannot train then all clubs cannot train (even thought the other clubs could be training) is ridiculous. It is the same as saying my club has no ruckman therefore nobody else can have a ruckman either. It is just luck.

If we are talking about the majority of a competition then perhaps it is different.....but not for a small minority.

the argument used last year is that it had to be fair and equitable for everyone..there is no such thing as a minority

hilarious how quickly Vics can backflip on integrity
