Went in and had a look and have to say I wasn’t especially impressed.

Energy level was really low. A couple of blokes, Big Mac in particular, looked like they’d let themselves go a bit over the offseason.

One group in particular seemed to be more interested in hanging out and having a chat than actually doing any work.

One of the more senior team members turned up late and things were slow to get get going. Also overhead some bitching about personnel who left late last year.

There wasn’t a lot happening in the end so I left early. Happy to answer any questions if anyone wants to know more about my first day back at work for 2021.

Yeah Ben Mckay was one of the most disappointing when I went last Wednesday - just didn’t look like he cared and was sloppy during the session

Reading between the interminable number of lines that have been written about this it seems less about opinions and more about how they manifested themselves into actions internally if you accept the veracity of the mail.

That being said I think everyone’s pretty much over it.

Strongly agree. If someone like Ben is considered problematic within the club, I’d hate to see how North would handle some of the actual wild cats out there on the list.

I bloody hope not.
It's been evident for a while that the boys need training and improvement in skills, transitioning, forward 50 entries and connections, the list goes on...
They need all that being drilled into them now, before any intra clubs!
