again, thats a shame

you see what im getting at.
3 years on kane's contract. Its on city to make it work if they want him so bad.
Would it be fair to say Levy would be stupid to turn down 150 mil for Kane?

Who do you get, capable of scoring the way he does this season, for 150m to replace him?

I'd say you're stupid for accepting 150m and end up having to over pay for lesser players when you no longer have a striker

Do you think Levy turns down 150m +? Seems unlikely. You could bring Vlhaovic & Lautaro for that much and then some. Harry Kanie is in his late 20s after all and doesnt have the greatest of injury records. As said in the other thread I would push for £100m + Laporte if I were Levy.

Even with him are you making top 4 this year?

Go after the next couple of prospects in line like a Haaland etc I know given Spurs current team predicament but still you get my point.

Frightening.

Hopefully Levy is as stubborn and rich as we think he is.
On paper yes.

Tbh not sure Harry Kane would fit into Peps system as good as most think, as great as he is until it happens and he's banging in goals I'll remain sceptical.

Really? Kane has excellent vision, passing and movement too, I reckon he would have no problem.

Imagine Grealish and KDB feeding balls to Kane. He would score for fun.

City can afford it so why not.
LOL. Why stop at £200m. Hold out for £300m, we can afford it.

That's how.things work in the real world surely.

Well technically speaking you could have afforded him for $250m at least, if you'd foregone Grealish who doesn't seem a vital cog in the City machine.

Technically speaking we could.

But you don't pay what you can afford on a player, you pay what you think he's worth.

Don't disagree, and then it comes down to the vagaries of valuing a player - is it what he's worth to the selling club, to the buying club, somewhere in between or none of the above.

Correct, and that's where we stand at the moment.

Did anyone get 6.29 in the "what time will Zidane take someone's post and repeat it back to them because he can't think of his own response" sweep?
