Howe's signed for next year. He wouldn't be so dedicated to his rehab and back at the training already if he had any intention of retiring.Howe will retire. He’s 32 and injury prone.
Another injury and he will and it's always on the cards now.Howe's signed for next year. He wouldn't be so dedicated to his rehab and back at the training already if he had any intention of retiring.
My reply was to someone who said he will retire now.Another injury and he will and it's always on the cards now.
Fair enough. My reply was to someone who said he will retire now.
Ruscoe has been playing very well in the ressies.Looks like there are a few players who DO play better when they’re in the seniors. Rusco, Kelly, both good. Ruscoe is so cool - a fine replacement for Murphy.

Come on FJ, I think you’re a bit drunk on the euphoria of the win.
Kelly played his role adequately for a bloke who has been on the list for 5-6 seasons but nothing more than that.
He kicks (very) high floaters that hang in the air for an eternity, are nearly impossible to mark overhead and easy to spoil.
Congrats to Kelly on playing his part in a great Anzac Day win but I still think he’ll be delisted at year’s end.

He hadn’t planned on snapping his arm when he signed.Howe's signed for next year. He wouldn't be so dedicated to his rehab and back at the training already if he had any intention of retiring.
He was a kid back then so hard to make too strong an assessment but he wasn’t particularly good up front. Otherwise they wouldn’t have switched him down back you would think. Yes he kicked a few goals but they were largely good fortune than good forward craft. If he is to continue his career longer term I doubt it is as a forward.Back to Ruscoe, he did start his career at Collingwood playing as a forward and kicking goals. If there's no place for him down back, this could be an option if we need another tall lead-up forward.
That was Fantastic by Ruscoe
The thing I loved about Trey's game was the lack of the attempt at the miracle handball or kick - too often he's favoured the difficult disposal over the simple and it's come undone - I was waiting for it on Tuesday and it didn't come - he kept it simple and he was really impressive - he's got such good hand and foot skills that he really doesn't need to try to do anything special. Yesterday he stuck with the KISS principle and he pulled it off really well. I hope there's a spot in the side for him this week as he has some very good skills.True, he was excellent last week.
Yes, I know, hence my comment. And if you re-read your comment which I was replying to it was specifically in reference to you saying he was going to retire NOW. If he's dedicated to his recovery and wants to return to footy this year and he does, then he won't be retiring NOW, will he?He hadn’t planned on snapping his arm when he signed.
He’s dedicated to his recovery because he wants to be a part of this year’s tilt at a premiership.
End of the year. I never said ‘now’, that was your inclusion. Let’s see if I’m right. Until then, pull your head in.Yes, I know, hence my comment. People have told me but I still didn’t realise how good you are it.I don't get it. He got a very lucky bounce, then tapped the ball to space then went to ground and Will Kelly helped him?
Back to reality, if he took those marks when in the first half that he could've instead of punching he would've played a very good game. Hope he gets a string of games together.

No he didn’t. He contested well, pushed the ball into open space and saw Kelly was there for the out number and then went across the Essendon player and engaged him to shepherd for Kelly. Who then took the ball and cleared long.
It’s simple and you made it difficult. If you don’t like Trey. That’s fine. Hey I have those types. But I choose my targets. Trey is just a kid and growing his game. He may taken longer to cook than most players. But if persisted with. Has some very high end AFL qualities. Size, Speed and quality of disposal. Most bit players have maybe one or two of those. He has all three. If he could just remove the brain farts and his lack of urgency. We’d have a serious player here.
