How is it even legal to sell brand new laptops with 4gb of ram lmao. The OS alone would gobble everything. Total scam those 400-800 laptops.
I bought a 320 laptop and upgraded the ram mysep from 4gb to 16 for like $50. Such a better option than buying the same laptop but with 16gb of ram for an extra $250

Everything i needed as a portable note taker (Luckily have a semi decent PC for gaming)

I want to get a good laptop for the upcoming months in hospital. I'm thinking something google chrome because I use it on my phone.
Any recommendations I don't really game other than with my son on his Xbox .

Just about to pull the trigger on these JBC.... Massive bang for buck speaker.

Spent about $24K setting up my system about 15 years ago and have upgraded bit by bit since, but that was starting from scratch.

Definitely don't need to pay $15K+ for speakers, but the age old argument of amps vs speakers has gone back and forth during that time on where to spend the money.

heh I've got a pair of 25 year old ADL-made Sonique speakers here with me in SYD that are made of an element heavier than uranium. and an ancient Arcam amp that occasionally needs a power cycle to wake up, not unlike me.

The 'familyfying' of everything sports related is just garbage.

Can't sportspeople just be able to do their thing and have their moment without immediately seeking commentary and involvement from their romantic partner and offspring?

Can't immediately think of a sport other than cricket that combines both maturing at a later age after a long apprenticeship and taking a hell of a lot of your time far away from home (maybe chess lol). And Test cricket especially has a lot of broadcast "space" to fill. Interesting hypothesis for someone more detail oriented than me to test - that it's "harder" to be successful without a family support system of some kind behind you, traditional or otherwise. Has this sort of "Australian story" background coverage also become typical broadcast practice for women's cricket?

Actually going up to Morgan tomorrow to have a look at it at pretty much peak. We will be a few mm either side of getting the 2nd story wet when it does peak
How do you think the River will be around 11 - 12th Jan? Picking my new boat up from Renmark.

Wouldn't mind a bit of a look at the Mighty Murray River in full bloom.

Organising a five year old’s birthday party over 60+ hellish hours since Xmas, cleaning up the yard in 37-41 degree weather. By the time the guests arrive you are mostly just grateful that the finish line is 3-4 hours away.
... in solidarity with Suburban Dad's everywhere

I've got some of these - Jamo S608 with the 250 Sub and a Marantz 7.1 receiver. Thinking about selling em in favour of a more slimline TV setup.
