I reckon they'd be declining in popularity if it weren't for McCafe. Campaigners are lined up onto the main road most mornings ordering coffees. There aren't many places you can buy hot drinks without getting out of your car.

I have a drive through coffee place around the corner from me & it’s like NYE there every morning. campaigners backed up everywhere blocking local traffic from getting out.

Old school fish and chip hamburgers (as long as run by Greeks or Lebos) are far superior than anything offered by any of the new school hamburger joints like Nordburger etc.

I don’t know, a lot of the new burger places are pretty damn good, tho they’re so different it’s going to be down to personal taste regarding which you like re nord / grilled / fancy / whichever burger joint


I generally feel it’s


Burger joints >>> fish and chip shop >>>>>>>>>> generic fast food place


But there would be plenty of fish and chip shops where you could swap them higher or lower on that list, they’re just so varied in their quality from shop to shop.


I avoid generic fast food places like the plague. There’s just so many better easy options.
