oi JimmyBC is this worth a punt at $200?

i like the AESTHETIC of the dual TT and the speakers.. can't really make out any details on the amp.

$200 is basic shop at woolies these days so its cheap as chips really.. the TT is meant to be pretty decent but might need a bit of fiddling. i have time though. im thinking strongly about it.

I dunno man I'd need more specs on the TT.

If I were you sobrave I'd look for integrated amps from makers like Rotel, Marantz, Technics etc. older one's pop up from time to time & they are renowned for having a very good phono stage etc. & much easier to work on for repairs generally.

That whole setup you posted apart from the CD player looks older than 80's to me, the speakers even concern me I'd pulling the backs off them on site.

yeah but im not looking for amazing right now on that budget... i would like to get a better TT to upgrade the one i have, but this would just be for a bit of fun in a seperate wing of chateau de so'brave.. if it works and sounds decent i'll be happy i think. i reckon i'll give it a go.

also you gotta remember im in bum**** nowhere and shipping costs are exorbitant these days.. so anything i can pickup is worth its weight in gold.

If you wanna tinker with stuff I get it man it's fun, just when you get into really old gear you are talking replacing tubes, capacitors etc. if you can't do it yourself it can get expensive really quick.

Bloody boomerpalooza back in town again, these roads are positively apocalyptic with the amount of caravans around.
