Who gives the minority groups voice? Who's driving these conversations? It's all propaganda to make us hate each other while the dollars created by the many flow into the hands of the few. You people on the right just scream and cry because Murdoch whispers the right words to you. It's honestly rather sad.

What? No!

Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Rupert Murdoch, Marc Andreesen, Mark Zuckerberg, Gina Rinehart, Jeff Bezos and James Packer care about wealth inequality and the little guy!

The current crop of female players is pretty thin, and I don't mean in appearance.

Not that I am saying that they aren't thin appearance, what I mean was... ah I shouldn't have said anything.

Americans must see tennis as similar to soccer - mainly a women's sport.

We're probably just leaving a golden era of Tennis.

Three goat contenders at the same time, then you had someone like Andy Murray right at them who would probably have been a generational player in any other generation.

Same thing happened in the UFC, when you had champs like Anderson Silva and GSP wind down and retire, then the organisation tried to manufacture people to take their place like Ronda Rousey and Connor McGregor, and it was very on the nose to longer term followers.

If this lady's **** cared about wealth inequality I'm sure they could lead these men to a fairer world for all

Poor analogy GD. US has won the most Grand Slam titles, double next best which is us, most Davis Cups and holds one of the 4 majors. They are the biggest tennis nation on earth. But considering the haven't had a great male player for 20 plus years, it's a bit off the radar as tennis doesn't fit the American Exceptionalism narrative at the moment.

Why didn't Joe Biden fix men's tennis? Seems like another thing for Trump to do! Make Tennis Great Again!

Step 1: Everyone has to wear Agassi's mullet wig.

brb packing bags moving to america to play tennis

Minority groups have more say these days because every fk’d up group have more rights these days
It’s driven by woke governments and a legal system made to protect Criminals, Deviates and general no hopers.

I've posted before that we should declare Australia a republic and celebrate Republic Day on the last Monday in January, replacing Australia Day as a public holiday.
Would not solve the issues that the aboriginals are after.
Pay the rent
Not your land always ours.
The activists won't be happy till they control everything and everyone

We are the only country in the world who's national day marks the start of colonisation, there are literally more countries without national days. For such an extreme case, sitting on the fence isn't exactly the middle ground. And before anyone pulls out the new poll that says 69% of Australians want Jan 26 to be our national day, that poll was commissioned by the Institute of Public Affairs, a heavily Liberal Party-aligned think tank and only had 1002 respondents.
I think 69% isn't accurate either I think it's much higher!

That was a pretty shitty AO. The sport is really missing the star power now.

As much as Djokovic annoys me, how I was wishing for a player who would smack an ordinary serve cross court for a winner, not just meekly paddle it back into play.

It was a rubbish men's final between Sinner and Temu Sinner.

And whose land was it before then ? The earth is over billion years old, something tells me the aborigines weren’t the first ones here. Who cares anyway, I was born here is all I know. My country too.

That's what I'm saying - like soccer, their women are much better at tennis than their men.

Tell me one right "minorities" have that you don't have in Australia today.

Star power as measured by how big they are in America? Because I won't point out the obvious lol.

That Hewitt/Roddick/Other period between the end of Agassi/Sampras and the beginning of Federer/Nadal/Djokovic was like the bit between the end of the Cold War and 9/11.

Sampras/Agassi/Federer/Nadal/Djokovic/Rafter/Hewitt was unparalleled.

Even the mid card players were amazingly talented. Roddick v El Aynaoui was a proper struggle.

Don't forget Clive Palmer and his bizarre Mineralogy ads where he blames renewable energy for the cost of living crisis.
