Neil Young sang

Look at Mother Nature on the run
In the 1970s

Later on Linda, Dolly and Emmylou sang

Look at Mother Nature on the run
In the 20th century

"21st century" still scans just as well, but Greta and her friends will need to have fixed things up before the end of 2099.

im sure she'll be glad of the steaming dump the boomers took in her hands on the way out

Crows just needed a little tweak to their stance in 2017...

You know what would really improve Star Wars?

If instead of spaceships in the trench run, it was people riding horses. That would really do the trick.

lol can't believe Raiders of the Lost Ark was American PG back in the day.

Certainly wouldn't fly in modern times in this ultra conservative puritan society we are barreling back to.

It was a lot more V shaped than that angle shows.

The video below shows it well. And England captain Owen Farell got some tongues wagging by smiling at the All Blacks during the Haka. Look at about 0.52 into the video. You see the refs at the start of the video asking a few English players to step back a bit and not get too close.

It reminded me a bit of Wallaby Sam Scott-Young in 1992. But things were very different back then. Sam Scott-Young blew kisses and winked at the All Blacks and the teams were within a two or three metres of each other.

I moved to Sydney mid 1992, the Wallabies had won the WC the previous November and about 6-8 weeks after I moved there, the Wallabies and All Blacks played the first of a three test Bledisloe Cup series. I had meet this Irish guy at work who was a Rugby tragic and he and a mate through the Rugby family got a dozen tickets for the 1st and 3rd tests in Sydney and he offered to sell me one for both tests. I had been watching Rugby since 1980 and had a reasonable understanding of the game, but apart from a couple of amateur games in Adelaide had never seen a high standard game live in the flesh. The test match was brilliant and saw us beat the All Blacks 16-15, ad it was the first test the Wallabies played since they won the WC.

The 2nd test was up in Brisbane and at Ballymore the next weekend and I watched it with my new Sydney flat mate who had played Rugby at school and knew a few NSW players and ex Wallabies thru the Kings old boy network. He was a big bastard looked like and was built like Mr Scott Gourley who was a dual international playing for the Wallabies and then moved to league and played for St George and NSW and the Kangaroos.

When Sam Scott-Young did his winking and blowing kisses, my flat mate went off. Got up out of his chair and started saying you can't do that, he can't do that, not during the haka. They are gonna bash him, they are gonna bash him, they are gonna kill him, on and on he went until the game started 2 or 3 minutes later. Sam Scott-Young eyeballed Richard Loe, the Kiwi prop who was a thug and sort of the Dave Granger of NZ Rugby.

So everytime Sam Scott-Young got the ball the Kiwis went after him pretty hard. He got a nice upper cut in a pack and had a bloody nose as a result and he coped a bit of a wack behind the play after the ball had stopped and struck back at someone in the head, of course the ref only saw the retaliation, but no send off, just a penalty to the Kiwis.

But Wallaby winger Paul Carozza coped it from Richard Loe instead of Scott-Young after he scored a try late in the first half. Loe deliberately smashed his forearm into Carozza's nose well after he grounded the ball.

My flat mate went off at Loe. Jumped out of his chair and walked around the lounge yelling abuse at Loe for the next 5 minutes it seemed.

Wallabies won the test 19-17 and the Bledisloe Cup. The suspension rules back then were bullshit, the player's Rugby board used to hand out suspensions and Loe was exonerated. He became public enemy no.1 in NSW and Qld. Some famous ex All Blacks came out publicly disgusted with the no suspension. Later that year in a NZ championship game he got done for eye gouging and the NZFRU gave him 9 months suspension. They couldn't dodge it this time.

Went and watched the last test back in Sydney and the Wallabies lost 23-26, so after 3 tests both sides had scored 58 pts. I was hooked and went from a casual fan of international rugby to a passionate fan and went to tests matches every opportunity I got.

Watch the hit on Carozza from 6.20 and the next 90 seconds or so in slow mo from different angles how dirty is was and Gordon Bray and Chris Buddha Handley go off at Loe.

Milat dead, good bloody riddance!
Good that he is dead. Bad that he never told the truth - the full truth - before he croaked.

Oesophagus and stomach cancer. Linked to the throat and solar plexus chakras, which are all about communication and speaking your truth...and fear. Some cancers are a physical manifestation of an emotional trauma.

He died a painful death specifically because he wouldn’t tell the truth, and holding on to that literally ate him up from the inside.

Pity someone didn't tell him that 6-12 months before he died. Maybe it might have got inside his head and he decided to get some relief. But probably not given his tough guy stance.

Serial killers like taking secrets to the grave it's the last sense of power they have, from what I've read Milat is probably responsible for one more murder anything else is most likely fiction.
