Our forward entries that term were diabolical. General play was pretty balanced, far more than our dominant 2nd, but their defence just smashed the forwards in that term.

Our forward entries were Hinkley-ball shite that quarter. Lower the eyes and work the ball up the field.

Horrible quarter, just dumb football continuously bombing it long to forwards who were always behind. Where is the composure to hit up a leading target? Hayes has been very good...

2.2 to 5.1 that quarter. We went to sleep after the first 10 minutes.

I know the score looks good but what I've seen so far it's pretty disappointing. As said, I only started watching 5min into the 3rd.

We were ordinary in that quarter, no doubt. We broke down kicking the ball into forward 50, and didn't defend their short passing.

Hayes' dominance in the middle also went unrewarded.

They had Kelly playing as the intercepting defender and he chopped off a lot of plays whereas in the second quarter, those balls were coming to ground and being crumbed by our little forwards.
