volk not interested in cejudo either unless he starts beating people same for McGregor, volk not interested unless it's a challenge for him. that's why he left the division and has gone up to lightweight now. theres simply nobody to challenge him there, he said it many times...

Agreed, but Poirier has the name and despite what in means in reality, the win over Chandler has the perception of importance.

Poirer doesnt deserve to come in for another shot when Olives, Dariush are on better streaks or in Olives case simply being ahead of DP. DP and Gaethje cant just wait around for title shots for 10 months at a time while the division is moving. UFC should drop them in the rankings for inactivity rather than reward them with top 5 all the time.

Gaethje/Fiziev will be a cracker though

Yep absolutely, I mean I don't quite share his confidence but I hope he can get it done.

He should be confident, undefeated in the UFC, maybe we don't yet know actually how good he is, plus he seems to keep improving.

I think he's right in a lot of what he said. I doubt he'll be able to match strength with Islam, but also doubt that will be the game plan. The footwork, his hands and his speed are his big advantages in this fight.

Yep absolutely, staying away from Islam even starting a TD attempt will be key. Funnily enough his mate Israel is excellent at avoiding a clinch, I'm sure they've been drilling the shit out of it with the CKB boys.
