When you have a rules committee you are going to get constant new rules.

Get the rule book throw out half the new stupid untested grey area rules that confuse everyone, sack the rules committee, remove the umpires mikes, and lets get back to playing football.

My theory:

We don’t really care about giving away a free kick. The pay off of attacking a 50/50 and winning it is far better then halving and getting a stoppage. Giving away a free kick just means it avoids a stoppage (which we’re obviously very poor at) and slows the play down to let our team defence set up.

This is the only reason as to why we give away so many free kicks.

Agreed we are aggressive at the ball when at our best, so will infringe more than more timid teams but that doesn't explain the ones not paid to us, that's where the problem lies

At what point will our club do something about the way we are umpired every single week? It's disgusting, and not only is it the ones we give away, but the opposition does the same thing and never gets pinged. The AFL is corrupt as F.

Tonight is another example why I prefer to not attend games. Watched the game at home with 3 neutral supporters who agreed that we played against 3 extra players. Week after week. It is no longer "umpiring" - it is open cheating..

Dimma saying in the presser as he has done previously, that the game of AFL is a hard one to adjudicate. I agree, but what it does highlight is that the current squad of fluoro minions they have at their disposal simply dont have the footy smarts to adjudicate a game to an acceptable standard any more and as a result we get the farce we unfortunately had to witness tonight.

Either the AFL dumbs down the rules so these muppets can understand them and it starts resembling the game we know and love or as they keep tweaking the rules we just end up with a hybrid version of netball that just frustrates everyone to the point they wont watch the sport any more.

Unfortunately it's only ruining it for we Tigers most of the other 17 lesser clubs supporters devour it.

I know he can’t say anything coz he will get fined but just wish once why any coach would come and out say the umpiring is a farce and needs to be soughted out , I hate it that comment it’s a hard game to adjudicate it’s not really I spotted at least 5 frees to Richmond and my seat is 8 rows back from the fence but yet the umpire standing right there and can’t see it
