so true but if we are serious about sustainability, we need to introduce redevelopment authorities with strict building plans including re-consolidation and division of land. WA seems to do it well, with land owners having to give 10-15% of their to the state government or in $s to improve open space and layout of new developments. It should be expanded to older areas as well.

A similar one is when you have a tiny, irritating foreign body in your eye, that you can't shift through tears or blinking. If it lasts more than an hour or two, it becomes maddening (and sometimes extremely painful).

And yeah it is great- yet another thing they dont have in the states and a trip to hospital in an ambulance costs you thousands over there.

Yep, i had to have one come out when i had a really fast heart rate and was unwell. Didnt end up actually travelling in the ambulance, but the call out fee would have been $700ish?


Thats horrible, would have been scary af.

They told me if I was feeling very very unwell and needed them, to just pull over on way and they'd come get me.

I got mine three years ago after having ever needing to go in an ambulance. Later that year I got appendicitis and needed to be rushed to hospital in an ambulance.

Ironically, it is also three years today since they were removed. Thank ****.
