I agree with this. He is still only 22 and while he has frustrated I think he is the type of player that does have a big upside potentially. Yes he may never reach it, but if traded we would at best get an average second rounder for him.

When you think about it as well he has played down back mostly and its really been this year we have said go forward and see what you can do. It takes more than a season for somebody who has spent the previous few years learning to be a back man to have a regular impact on the game.

He has great pace, can take a good grab and if he can start to dispose better he will worry a lot of teams. Give him some time. Might have to work hard to get back into best 22 but there is space on the list for blokes like him.

Impey was very good against Sturt in a tough close final. He sacrificed his own game for team defence when required, showed genuine leadership, was hard at the contest and provided strong rebound. It was his most mature performance to date.

I think we should look at trading Aaron Young. I think his currency is as high as it's going to get as he's played above himself and he'll revert to a fringe player, and in a year's time we'll be saying why didn't we trade him when we had the chance.

At the time I would have said you are crazy. Hard to consider trading bloke who kicks 37 goals in a breakout year but your right, would have got something decent for him. Still that was never going to happen, as I said you don't trade young guys who come second in your goal kicking out of nowhere.

Think he only took a one year deal from memory. Is he out of contract then at the end of this year? He would be annoyed he didn't go the longer contract option.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other for me. I'm finally seeing something in Amon, while my belief Impey would develop hardness/finishing skills was evaporating. But yes, v Sturt he was all you say. Enough to bump Amon though? Because I'm not sure we want both in for West Coast.

I don't want to fight this battle on two fronts. That never ends well. Personally I would pick Impey for Amon. But it's an unpopular opinion

Would never happen. Both play different positions. Amon is one of the few outside kids that actually has a leg on him. He provides more run around the ball than Impey. Finds more of it. Impey isn't a mid.

Ask me last season i would of dumped Amon but this year he has convinced me that he can play at this level and has a good skill set. He has his nose in front of Impey at this stage imo.

- I seriously think we can win the flag this season.
- Our club song should be changed. It sucks ass.
- I don't like NTUA, but like that the plebs like it and that it makes $$$ for the club. I also love that something another club does that has 0 bearing on a person's own club gets them revved up so significantly.
- We are sorely lacking an accumulator of the ball/tagger a la Kane Cornes.
- I don't really care much for Kane Cornes' writing, but absolutely love that everyone gets so wiled up about him. Therefore I think I love him.

Well my unpopular PA opinion is that I'm hoping Boak can rebound into decent form in order to remain captain long enough in hope that we miraculously uncover a player with onfield leadership, a steely resolve, good skills, and an unsociable style ... a real obvious choice as captain because I think we don't have one yet.

I wear the teal guernsey a lot on AFL Evolution to avoid a clash if the other team is wearing a dark one. It's softened it to me and I wouldn't be opposed to it being worn in regular games when necessary.

Preference would be to strip the unnecessary black from the current clash so it's exactly the PB but with a white base and no number panel. I don't dig the side bars or collar and cuffs.
