Arizona is very much in play and there are multiple states that are either subject to recount or legal action. It could go anywhere. I don't think it will happen, however if the courts do find on the side of systematic fraud then the democrats don't deserve to govern America. Its as simple as that. If their street thugs want riot then fu** them. You don't see Trump people going on a rampage while all this plays out.

and I was talking about AOC and not Omar as much as I wish she could make the highest office there’s too much riding against her for that position ...AOC has a much better chance imo

Really? Then what do you think is 'socialism'? It clearly isn't anything that AOC is in favour of, I mean most of her ideology is similar to what we have here, and I don't quite think we're at an authoritarian level of government yet.

And if anyone in the US wanted to implement anything like what they have in the Scandinavian countries, they'd be crying 'communism'. Do you think the Scandinavian countries are authoritarian?

I don't think the Scandinavian countries are socialist either. I think they have a robust capitalist base than funds a lot of social services.

Cuba, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Algeria, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Nepal, India are either socialist or have socialist ideals enshrined in their constitutions.

Each state provides updated and provisional results. The media, in the absence of anyone else doing it live, then uses a calculator to add up the Electoral College votes and lets everyone know when one of them has reached 270 EC votes and then tells everyone.

The only complication is that votes trickle in late and in close states this might change results so they don't "call" those until they're more sure.

But at the moment, they're sure enough about PA, MI, WI and Nevada that Biden has over 270 so the media has announced that. In all likelihood it will be more like 290+.

In the history of US elections in the 21st century, they've never waited until official electoral results are announced by the states to call the election because that can't happen until all the votes are counted something like 20 days after the election.
