Reddit is heavily left-biased. It's the nature of the site.

It was always going to be close. And early signs are that at least Harris is keeping it competitive. Biden was a dead man walking and even if the Democrats lose, at least they made it a contest by convincing Biden to step down.
I mean yes I think if Biden had run they'd be ****ed, Harris at least injected some life into things.

Ted Cuckruz hanging on in Texas
Allred polling 3pts better than Trump. Might not be enough in the end but it's a nice trend.

The Republicans have gained a Senate seat. Jim Justice, the Republican governor West Virginia, has won the Senate election after the incumbent, Joe Manchin III, an independent who caucused with the Democrats declined to run again after Mr Justice threw his hat in the ring. Mr Justice defeated Glenn Elliott, the Democratic former mayor of Wheeling. The Democrats didn't spend much money on the Senate race.

If I was going to make up a name for a Republican Governor, it would be Jim Justice.

How on earth are you getting the impression that Harris winning is/was a foregone conclusion?

Even most of us supporting Harris here thought/think it will be tight.
There were a few in here a couple days ago calling it over because Harris had shortening odds. Some of those predicting huge dem landslide.

Seeing a US election again really makes you appreciate how we get campaign and get results within 6 weeks.
Imagine we become like Americans and start wearing Liberal and Labour merch and go crazy during an election lols

It's insane how patriotic and full on into it Americans get in Australia we don't give a crap we vote and that's it haha

To me, Iowa will be really interesting to watch given Selzer's poll the other day. Trump favourite to win however how close Harris can get or possibly pip will be so interesting to watch.

Iowa shifts towards blue but Trump still wins is what we are looking for.

Will bode well for the other swing states around there.

Such a shame Manchin is gone

Not

What even is American TV? I just saw an ad for Jesus.

It's funny and disturbing reading Reddit threads on the World Series and seeing people comment about ads that are broadcast on US television that we don't see in Australia.

We have an increasing number of morons waving around Trump merch, we're sadly closer than you may think.
