But don't you think the circumstances in which she got the nod and the fact that she started her run late had an adverse impact on her?
Being pro-trans and pro-bodily autonomy has absolutely no bearing on damaging women's rights. Funny how the far right all of a sudden are trying to paint a picture of caring about women (hot tip, they don't give a shit), whilst simultaneously eroding their rights in any way that they can. That you are angered by a comment that a biological male is not a woman.
The left used to be pro womens rights.
The right used to be anti Russian.
Strange Times.
And this disgusting rhetoric sums it up. Though I can't tell if you're incredibly gullible, or if you're just a shitty person.Unfortunately trans and Pedo groups have latched onto the gay movement to give themselves viability and here we are.
I think she would have benefited immensely from having a full year of campaigning.Personally don't think it would have made a difference
Did she though? She read the same script over and over and overKamala ran a good campaign, she didn't leave stones unturned like Hillary
USA is just ****ed
Yeah that was absolutely mind boggling from her."Anything you would change from Biden?"
Kamala: "Nah"
Lol.
Im just carrying on and explaining the implications of the assumption of the poster i was quoting. They assumed harris is down due to progressives not voting. This isnt my assumption. I actually dont know.Have you considered that maybe many of them ended up voting for Trump?
Some things you need to consider is that swing voters don't generally vote for one party as a 'package', because not every proposed piece of legislation will appeal to them.
They may vote for a party/candidate because they like some of their policies and the ones they don't like aren't high up on their list.
Others won't vote because of one particular on(abortion, for instance).
Also, people voting for Trump aren't likely to care in the slightest about Gaza, or immigrants being deported, because they care what's happening in their country right now and don't see Harris as the solution.
Of course, I don't think Trump's the solution in any way whatsoever but if he does get in, it'll be interesting if he actually does release the Epstein files, like he said he would.
That place is off it’s headThe Republican National Committee and the Georgia Republican Party have filed a motion to halt a judge’s order allowing extended hours at six DeKalb County, Georgia, polling sites after they were evacuated earlier tonight because of bomb threats. The filing says the claims made by DeKalb election officials in a court filing requesting extended hours are “unverified and are not accompanied by an affidavit supporting the factual assertions.”
The lawsuit was filed by Alex Kaufman, an Atlanta-area attorney who was involved in Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia. The lawsuit comes hours after a federal judge slammed Kaufman for his role in a “legally incorrect” lawsuit over absentee ballots.
She had to choose better than Walz though. Walz looked like Biden 2.0 at times. She should have chosen someone to rival Vance. She made pretty amazing gains in such a short period of time
Backlash against harris for not choosing shapiro by swing voters. What's going on in Pennsylvania?
Ah, fair enough.Im just carrying on and explaining the implications of the assumption of the poster i was quoting. They assumed harris is down due to progressives not voting. This isnt my assumption. I actually dont know.
Americans are weird
Cruz sucks, but again wins in Texas Senate race
Nebraska - Trump wins Presidential (unsurprising), they may get an Independent Senator (close race) and then they have direct measures:
-Establishing a right to abortion - 59% for (and another one to Limiting abortion after 1st trimester - 54% against (i.e. overall, for abortion - yay!))
-And legalising medical marijuana - 74% for !
Weird stuff.
Doesn't walz have a military background? She had to choose better than Walz though. Walz looked like Biden 2.0 at times. She should have chosen someone to rival Vance.
I think it speaks more of the American people if she losesDid she though? She read the same script over and over and over
She didn't focus on things people care about like immigration being out of control and then resorted to 'everyone's garbage unless you vote for me'
Trump is a ****ing moron so it speaks volumes about her campaign if she loses
And rather than accept criticism or even looking back at it people will label voters racist and sexist. "They weren't ready for a black woman", proving the point as to why Trump did so well...
People keep repeating this shit. It happened with Brexit, that felt like the first domino with this, the Voice here, potentially Kamala now. Europe getting further and further right
When will the left leaners actually reflect on what they're doing and accept the majority pretty clearly are rejecting them?
It's even more weird because almost all of us are left leaning on most important issues (healthcare, education etc). The left should have a layup every election and manage to **** up, that's bewildering to me but they'll seemingly keep making the same mistakes if threads like this are anything to go by. "Everyone voted wrong!!!"
Cant belive Americans are voting for a bloke who's not only a racist but denies his Nazis views lols
Doesn't that just tell you how ****ed their 'system' is then? The splti ticket votes in favour of Trump always amaze me. In the cult enough to believe in burning down the system, but still go for their friendly Democrat Senator/Governor/Congressman.
