Fair warning that any exit poll/on-the-day result/early vote result is going to be highly speculative due to the interchange of D/R voters' preference for either method since 2020 - this could be highly impactful.

Until a county is 100% reporting, I wouldn't react in either direction.
Australia would be the funniest place to do exit polling - according to the polls, an overwhelming percentage of voters indicated that I should F&*k off.

Until we have some counties 100% reporting, I wouldn't react in either direction.
Here's a couple of questions

1) Has there been a situation where there has been a 269 tie?

2) If so what happens if there is one this time?

Based on our conservatives getting around 30% of the first party preferences. And the parties most like the Republicans (One Nation and UAP) getting a combined 9%
Last federal election the Coalition got 35.70% with other right wing parties combing for 9.08% as you said.

Labor and Greens got 32.58% and 12.25% respectively.

There's nothing to suggest either side of politics controls 70% of the vote.

Best place to watch the coverage as the votes begin to get counted, live online?

And best site to view each state as the voting is counted?

I feel like buying a MAGA hat off ebay for the lols. Out of curiosity I went to the Trump official website, and it doesn't ship to Australia.
I’m a Cabinet maker and did a job at a big house in Balwyn a couple of months ago and in a plastic tub in plain view was a MAGA hat, was very wtf, well off private school family too!

If the USA had mandatory voting, the initial drop for Republicans would be stark before they adopted more progressive policies and got their votes back. Or we would see a rise in a 3rd party

I don't support the Berlin Wall but would glady have a piece of it as a souvenir if I could get my hands on a genuine one. History is history.

Bizarrely, I saw some at a party shop in Sydney a week or so back.
