Kind of like Muslim-Americans, progressives in the US don't really have much to hope for with Harris:

- Israel are eradicating Gaza under Joe's watch and would continue under Harris
- Dems promised to just as harsh on 'border policy'
- There can be no 'nation-wide abortion ban'
- Harris offered no substantive economic policy to ease the burden upon people
- Harris kept prattling about having a Republican in her ranks, about running a 'bipartisan government'

I'm not going to argue that there's no substantive difference between Harris and Trump, but any dip in progressive turnout (which isn't even clear yet) should be sheeted home to the Democratic Party. People are not obliged to buy into whatever s*** they're trying to sell.

This is just utterly wrong.

Dems arent deporting 20 million people back across the border. Unbelievable difference on border policy with trump.

Harris was definately going to push back against israel harder then they have been after the election while trump was going to make it even easier for israel then biden.

Harris offered that she wasnt going to make inflation sky rocket again like trump will by applying universal tariffs on imports and deporting millions of cheap labour. Not to mention that inflation has already returned to normal and wages growth has been outpacing inflation. Unlike in australia.

And trump wasnt going to allow roe vs wade to unwind either. Look where his supreme court justices took him. Naivity to think rights for women cant get a lot lot lot worse going foward under trump and a right wing religious congress and supreme court. Roe vs wade was only the beginning.

He’s got Rogan, The Evangelical crazies, Putin, Elon, massive psyops operation and on and on.

More progressive? That's just going to push voters they're looking to attract even further away.

They need to position themselves as a party for everyone.

At present, they just pander to those in big Democrat cities.

That'd work in a country where the majority votes wont he presidency but USA isn't like that.

Gained some. He's still losing those demographics badly. It's just instead of being 90-10, it's now 85-15, and that's enough to make a difference. But let's not pretend he's now a hero to minorities.

Harris was gazas only hope. But they had to wait until after the election.

Trump is going to arm israel to the teeth and cheer them on without restraint. By not voting for harris they have sadly signed gazas death notice.

She was never a hope for Gaza. She showed little sign of caring about the fate of Palestinians and even less sign of changing Biden's approach to Israel.

The notion that she was going to turn into a magical princess for Palestine is absurd and based on nothing at all.

Biden has been arming Israel to the teeth. He has been cheering them without serious restraint. The 'death notice' was signed under Biden and Palestinians are dying in their thousands.
