Tomorrow we will wake up to a country where the next 4 years will see a weakening of democracy, a further winding back of individual's rights, deportation of legal migrants, a curb on freedom of speech & the press and the promotion & condoning of violence from the leader of the county to name a few. Add to all of that, an actual worsening of the cost of living crisis due to tariffs on everything from o/seas adding to inflation. Then we go overseas and the end of funding to the Ukraine which will end in their defeat to Russia who will occupy them before progressing to the next country in Europe that they feel they have a historical right to occupy, and so on.

I hoped their strategy of trying to govern as far right as they could get away with wouldn’t bite them, and it has.

They could do genuine progressive policies and gone the Bernie route, they didn’t and it’s obvious the majority of the Democrat party prefer a Trump presidency to a progressive dem.

I think the war mongers and neocons are in both parties.
They should of gone through a party debate process before installing Harris. And Republicans were smart. What pulls bigger numbers? MSN or podcasts these days? They targeted their potential voters pretty cleverly. And “but Trump” isn’t a policy. Particularly when they already had him for 4 years.
