Oh well. That's our season officialy over. Hopefully we can finish strongly with a win against Essendon and a smashing against Port.

On the plus side with this loss it effectively denies the Blues from making the 8. The final spot is pretty much now between Saints and Freo.

We continue to have brain fades , missed tackles and non defensive efforts which aren't noticed against poorer oppositions but is clearly evident against better opposition.
McGuanne missed two sitters, Houli missed a few tackles , Nahas ( give me the second rounder, actually give me a 3rd ) is completely non existant against reasonable opposition.
Thought Post played well , Rance exposed on a slippery opponent, whilst White did some nice things. GO to the draft and trade table and just get midfielders who can play inside.

Only saw last quarter but we didn't seem to be playing well at all. Nice goal from Whitey in the 4th. It was a nothing game and the intensity from the players showed that IMO.

never really thought we could win. v lyon game style you really need a chf in form. typically got squeezed in the packs and the lack of good inside mids hurt. i reckon we should thro out the game plan v freo and just play 1 on 1. skill level ordinary as well as some dumb decisions as well. on the plus the boys fought it out and didnt give up. freo too good.
