Yeah we are improving. We have gone from catastrophic to deplorable. Hopefully next year we are just terrible.
75 point loss to 40 point loss, headed in the right direction id say lol
Ill Be Back Jim Carrey GIF

Stevenson was ok. Was pretty good with intercept groundballs inside d50. Hit most of his targets - except a shanked howler. Missed tackle on dangerfield called out by king. But, 26 touches, 7 rebound 50s is a pretty solid game after being in 2s for 2 months. We need to persist with him. Best game for a while.
Phillips was also ok. Not all
Of them can get 30 each week and he was pretty hard at it.
Hanson jnr needs to play 2s nect week.
Yeah that was passable from Stevenson despite some shockers. Saved Logue's mistake which was huge but let himself down with Danger. Remove some of the clangers and stick tackles better he might just work out.

i just don’t know anymore. Need the season to end already.

There's so much to like, and despite today's score, the trajectory is upward, but....

-- The goal square hoodoo continues. At either end, our worst work is in the final 15m. We're either making catastrophic errors in the defensive square, or having shots that fall short and are easily rushed, or worse, run away through lack of pressure. Corr blimey!

-- Turnovers. Yes, lots of players turn the ball over, but some are doing it under extreme pressure in the contest, others while running free on the outside. Weed out the weak links.

-- What are the HTB, incorrect disposal rules? Wasn't 4 mins in when the young Geelong bloke coming out of defence lost the ball in the air and then collected it again when being tackled -- how the freaking hell is that not incorrect disposal? Have the rules changed?

-- Kick to Stewart like he's our forward and he barely get a clean touch.

Still a lot to like.

It's not "flashes" of good footy. It's quarters and halves of good footy. We're showing a lot of promise. Only caring about wins and losses is either being intentionally reductive to have a reason to sulk, or it's just plain ignorance.

The irony is that I copped shit from the emo whingers at the bye for saying that we had 4 more winnable games left. You guys said I was unrealistic and we'd struggle to win 1 game. Now those same whingers are crying because we only look like we'll win 4 games and they are all easy wins against bad sides.
Caring about wins is ridiculous clearly. As about 15 in five years suggests lol

Larkey needs 5kg of muscle or fat or something. A couple need to go. Noticed everytime Luke ran off the bench he looked back to see where he was wanted.
Wardlaw was brutal but wayward. Simpkin a bit slow and sheez was effortlessly quick.
Biggest two probs I thought were few contested marks.apart from charlie and x.
No.2 we couldnt hold possession in the fwd line which led to slingshot goals.
Great to get back and see a game again though and s ee a fullish blundstone!

Surprised no ones mentioned Phillips, thought he was disappointing, his kicking really lets him down, I hope he makes it but jesus he’s not doing himself any favours. Sure he could tag, but means we’re essentially playing with 2 mids in the centre instead of 3, and we already have too many mids.

Next time look for Stewart and the ****ing thing will go over his head, bounce in front of him…..

Few people still clinging on because of sunk cost fallacy but realistically he's just a nothing footballer at this level

This team is the most infuriating to watch in games where it’s 1-2 good quarters, and in less than 5 minutes we can undo all that good work.

Oppo supporters have called it the Harry Sheezel vs. Geelong game and that’s appropriate. The rest of the team might as well be invisible most weeks.

Sheezel was involved in 14 of our 16 scores.
