Barass was bloody good in a far more important match....... just saying
Fiorini will repeat that and get a nom next year.

Didn't watch the Friday night game so I shouldn't have spoken too early. Unfortunately Fiorini's game was probably top 5 for rising stars this year but just picked the wrong week to produce.

Unfortunately it was also in a losing team - star performances in losing teams usually don't rate ......

What/Who are Lynch and Mckenzie supposed to be dressed as?
Notorious UFC fighter Connor McGregor.

Not going to bother putting faces to names as the picture is too blurry for it but it looks as though we also had.

The Happy Gilmore Boys (Annoying Umbrella guy, Happy, Shooter McGavin, Nursing Home guy, Chubbs and Hobo Caddy)
Russell Coight
Duffman (OH YEAH!)
Luigi
a Rubix Cube
Captain Jack Sparrow
B1 & B2
Frankenstein's Monster
Pandas?
A Ghostbuster
Michelangelo (Ninja Turtle)
Stone Cold Steve Austin
and finally a couple of Harambe's

I know Mills, Daniel, Petracca, Parish been standouts but Peter Wright getting dismissed by the journos in rising star consideration despite a great first proper year.

In their article picking their top 5 Peter Wright only got 2 votes

In comparison
Sicily: 4 votes
Papley: 4 votes
Moore: 5 votes
Matt Thompson the ******* even voted for Daniel Rioli - such a homer pick

As you can see Peter had a better statistical year than all (Sicily played 4 more games so stats in averages - and he was pretty similar)

I just had a look on the "past players" list and the following names popped up:
Brown, Bock, Broughton, Coad, Harris, Horsley, Hunt, Illes, Krakouer, McQualter, Murphy, Osborne,Raines, Tippett and Warnock.

These players were recruited as mature players to bring experience and leadership to nurture the young GCS.

I ponder how these "experienced" players mentored the young Suns?

We've done some things poorly compared to GWS for sure - but listening to 3AW with Macinnes, Tony Shaw and Michael Christian tonight banging on about GWS and GC having exactly the same concessions made the blood boil a bit.
The media down here shit me to tears. Rant over.

I prefer to listen to someone who actually deals with these things rather than ignorant media opinion. In Scott Clayton's words the concessions granted GWS were something along the lines of "completely different!!!"

Satire/ Fan site popular on Facebook called the Greenfield Post wrote a review of our season and also repeated the claim that we had the same concessions as GWS (minus Riverina)

Probably too far ingrained now
