If Travis Varcoe is there when we get our pick, we would snatch him up quicker than you could blinkbarrel47 said:Here goes my left nut:
Assumed ladder positions, no priority picks prior to first round and no trades:
1 - Collingwood - Beau Dowler
2 - Carlton - Mitchell Clark
3 - Hawthorn - Marcus Drum
4 - Essendon - Leroy Jetta or Grae Grant (I think one is eligible)
5 - Western Bulldogs - Scott Gumbleton
6 - Richmond - Shane Neaves
7 - Kangaroos - Shannon Hurn
8 - Adelaide - Ryan Jackson
9 - Brisbane - Austin Lucy
10 - Sydney - Daniel Dzufer

Beau Muston(Murray Bushrangers),Danny Stanley(Geelong Falcons),Scott Pendlebury(Gippsland Power),Alan Toovey(Claremont),Jace Bode(Glenelg),Sam Robertson(Calder Cannons),Rees Thomas(Oakleigh Chargers)and Shaun Higgins(Geelong Falcons).
bawkbagawk said:Pendlebury - Yes - Averaging around 23 disposals a match. Playing on wing/on ball. First year of full time footballer - ex Australian basketballer (see TAC record round 6 I think...) Very athletic huge leap great mark. For someone with very little football background he sure knows how to find the ball. Very confident, sometimes too much so in trying to take on opponents and do too much and turns the ball over sometimes due to this. Potentially a first round I'd say. See how he goes at the championships - sure to get a game.
Saw a bit of that game last night on ABC2, and I'd say he's more an Eddie Betts/Davey type and size than a Lovett who's approx. six feet tall. Looks to have a more solid build like Betts than a skinny wingman's body like Lovett and Davey.PerthCrow said:Keep an eye out for Tommy Corbett-Wynne ..kicked 3 goals on debut then followed up with 4 this week. The reason us Crowies are interested is we are looking for a crumber badly. Would West Coast look at him for a Matera backup/replacement?theorangeapple said:Corbett- Wynne is more likely to be picked up as a rookie than in the main draft. i expect one of the WA clubs to take the punt.

Isnt he a crumbing forward?theorangeapple said:i think we are looking for something other than run of the mill midfielders. personally, i would like us to look at a running backpocket or forward pocket and i think the club might feel the same. add abit of flair and unpredictability.
