I have seen these blokes and thought they all looked like definite draft picks but they haven't been mentioned on this thread. What do you think?
Beau Muston(Murray Bushrangers),Danny Stanley(Geelong Falcons),Scott Pendlebury(Gippsland Power),Alan Toovey(Claremont),Jace Bode(Glenelg),Sam Robertson(Calder Cannons),Rees Thomas(Oakleigh Chargers)and Shaun Higgins(Geelong Falcons).

the eagles are talking to brennan mills. he is a deadset gun, was rated as high as mitch morton last year and would have gone inside the top 20 if eligible.

ryan jackson is VERY slow. i cant see him going insider top 30 especially considering he was overlooked last year.

Here goes my left nut:
Assumed ladder positions, no priority picks prior to first round and no trades:
1 - Collingwood - Beau Dowler
2 - Carlton - Mitchell Clark
3 - Hawthorn - Marcus Drum
4 - Essendon - Leroy Jetta or Grae Grant (I think one is eligible)
5 - Western Bulldogs - Scott Gumbleton
6 - Richmond - Shane Neaves
7 - Kangaroos - Shannon Hurn
8 - Adelaide - Ryan Jackson
9 - Brisbane - Austin Lucy
10 - Sydney - Daniel Dzufer
If Travis Varcoe is there when we get our pick, we would snatch him up quicker than you could blink ;)

Keep an eye out for Tommy Corbett-Wynne ..kicked 3 goals on debut then followed up with 4 this week. Has been compared to Andrew Lovett

Looks like a smaller, freakier haired version of Dean Rioli. Similar build.

yep, varcoe will go top 5 IMO.

As long as Josh Kennedy (East Freo) slips down to us I will be happy.

Looked at the TAC site and it said Drum had 26 kicks, 9 handballs and 21 Marks at CHB.

Muston - Yes, will be able to judge better when the championships are played
Robertson - No - to soft for a guy his height. Has to play key position cos he's not fast enough but the hardness is a real query.
Higgins - Ok - but their are others at Geelong I'd put ahead of him, let alone the rest of the country.

Pendlebury - Yes - Averaging around 23 disposals a match. Playing on wing/on ball. First year of full time footballer - ex Australian basketballer (see TAC record round 6 I think...) Very athletic huge leap great mark. For someone with very little football background he sure knows how to find the ball. Very confident, sometimes too much so in trying to take on opponents and do too much and turns the ball over sometimes due to this. Potentially a first round I'd say. See how he goes at the championships - sure to get a game.

Saw a bit of that game last night on ABC2, and I'd say he's more an Eddie Betts/Davey type and size than a Lovett who's approx. six feet tall. Looks to have a more solid build like Betts than a skinny wingman's body like Lovett and Davey.

The reason us Crowies are interested is we are looking for a crumber badly. Would West Coast look at him for a Matera backup/replacement?

i think we are looking for something other than run of the mill midfielders. personally, i would like us to look at a running backpocket or forward pocket and i think the club might feel the same. add abit of flair and unpredictability.

I haven't seen too many super-quick winger/flankers in Victoria this year which will probably have Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon getting a bit nervous. You'd guess they'd all have pace on top of their shopping lists. I imagine they are spending most of their time in WA and SA.[/QUOTE]

ellis aint slow 2.89 for 20 meters

We already have LeCras and Morton who can fill that void.

Firstly can I say to the West Toasters keep your grubby fingers out of South and East Freo. Leeches, that's all you lot are.
Tommy Corbett-Wynn is a good youngster. Smooth mover with great goal sense. Kicked 11 goals in the second semi for South last year. He's a bit on the small side and has the aboriginal dislike of defensive work.
Can play.
