Sorry, he’s still got to play four more games in a row.
Phew! I though they might make him play 4 more seasons in a row, just to make sure his body can hold up? ;)

Has to be some serious questions if he isn’t selected next week, purely to balance structure.

Not going to be great conditions to play in up in Darwin for a marking forward, but to have another forward presenting and bringing it to ground would be a win in itself.

State league affiliate: North Melbourne (VFL)
This weekend: Sandringham v North Melbourne at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, Sunday May 29, 2.15pm AEST

Jaidyn Stephenson won plenty of the ball in the Roos’ loss to the Zebras. The out-of-favour Stephenson tallied 23 possessions and laid five tackles.

Charlie Comben, who has played just one AFL game since being drafted in 2019, kicked three goals from 10 touches.

Rookie Matt McGuinness (25 disposals) led the way for North, finishing with 25 touches.

Atu Bosenavulagi and Charlie Lazzarro both had 19 touches and five tackles.

The Roos trailed by two points at three-quarter time, before going down by 34.

Next Sunday VFL at Arden Street at 1pm be good if club could promote it against Box Hill .
Be good to get a crowd there if promoted right maybe the club can contact Mr Paul Roos or also known as full of BS 💩 to see if it’s all right to promote a game of VFL which has no North AFL game clashing.

We can't get members to turn up to AFL games at the moment so I think you might be dreaming if you think even carpet-bombing promotion from the club would draw a crowd next Sunday.

How did McGuiness actually go?

If Comben got through he plays, although it is in Darwin so who f***ing knows.
He looked okay. Only saw the last quarter and a half on stream but he got plenty of the ball took some good contested marks and kicked well.

His disposal is better than most and pulled some attacking kicks off. Barely missed a target. Based on the year to date, his spoiling and interception work was the best it’s ever been (low threshold though). Used his speed a little today, but it’s something he’s not confident with for some reason. Likes a baulk. Still weak one-on-one and lacks a bit of agility below his knees. Ultimately, he is better suited to a tall back flanker or third tall role than a true kpd role.

Bring him in for Hayden then.

Yeah I agree with this. I think he'll be good at that role too. Given how little footy he has had he seems to be on a good curve for improvement. I hope he gets a game later this year. He might do okay.

Hopefully the team can play some decent football with Edwards and CCJ playing adding some height and maybe and hopefully seeing Spicer playing unless it’s minus 3 wind chill and raining then I say he be out.
Well I”ll be there with umbrella hopefully with the diehard supporters being there as well.

Have i missed where it was mentioned why CCJ didn't play on the weekend? Did he fly home to SA without telling the club? :)

Callum Coleman-Jones will also have to prove his fitness, having experienced soreness and missed last Sunday's VFL game against Sandringham.

"He pulled up a bit tight in the quad last weekend, prior to the game," McPherson detailed.

"He'll have to tick a few boxes at training tomorrow before he's right to play. We'll wait and see."

At least there’s no overlap with the afl team this week
Yes playing an old rival from the 70s you think being at Arden Street the spiritual home of the NMFC you think with the social media side of things that the club has going for it you think a bit of promotion by the club would be happening now to get a few of our supporters there.
