We've looked good on paper quite a few times this year, only for Powell and Phillips to drop the ball every time this year so far.

And it's one of the reasons I think Clarkson is right when he says the club is making progress. A strong reserves slde has to be a fundamental stepping stone for a rebuilding side, and that line up has to be the strongest VFL side we have put out in some time

He’s been really impressive. 27 touches and 6 tackles as a pure inside mid against Sydney - looked like a solid 2 way player. Then 18 touches 7 tackles as a half forward vs Sangringham.

Our depth in VFL talent is very impressive.

Yes unfortunately at this moment in time our AFL talent isn’t.
But in time it will be.

Picture perfect at the ground; not so long ago Frankston shellacked our vfl side, so an interesting point of reference - with Cunnington wardlaw and Thomas in the side, you’d expect a different result

Fordham still with Frankston and geez he’s filled out since he was on our list
