Certainly doesn't prove my case, but does state our notes are cleaner than traditional paper notes. The US and UK have a lot of trouble with their notes from drug tracing to counterfeiting. We haven't had those type of issues since the mid 90's.
WHY POLYMER ?Between 1992 and 1996, the bank progressively introduced a new series of notes to replace the original decimal notes, which were first issued in 1966. The new notes are printed on polymer (plastic) substrate instead of traditional paper. Polymer currency note technology was developed in Australia, jointly by the Bank and the CSIRO.
Australia was the first country in the world to replace all its paper notes with polymer notes. The Bank made the move to polymer to make Australia's notes more secure against counterfeiting, which had been on the increase as modern reprographic equipment became more readily available. Polymer notes are also more durable than paper notes (lasting around four times as long), are cleaner and more hygienic, and can be recycled at the end of their useful life into a range of plastic products.

It also never says how much was on the note:
If “a person ... has possession of the prohibited material merely because by scientific means it is possible to conclude that there are some specks or fragments measurable in micrograms in the pocket of his coat is in reality to penalize him for a possession of the material in the past.” (Williams (1978) 140 CLR 591).
There has to be a certain amount before they can do anything about it.

And if the drugs were in some sort of packaging a DNA test might be used if they do persue ownership of the drugs
for forgery, nothing to do with whether they hold traces of drugs on them or not! lol!

a) small vial
b) small snorting kit bought at the bong shop with a custom made straw.

Yes, the only drugs found on Ben Cousins were legal (valium). Channel 7 news also revealed tonight that Ben Cousins had only got in the car minutes before he was pulled over. The car did not belong to him and he had not been driving it all day or anything like that.

Of course. Perth is rolling in people snorting coke and MDMA through $20 notes. You only have to read all the crap posted on here by West Coast supporters to realise that most of them must be snorting drugs.
